Hello Fellow Creatures!

Hey everybody! I'm totally new here and just wanted to introduce my self to YWP. Some basic things about me...
- My favorite colors are orange, green, and blue.
- I love high jump, my record is 4'6''.
- I'm apart of my high school's swim team, as a fly and free swimmer.
- When I'm older I want to be a aerospace or biochemical engineer.
- I have three younger sisters and one younger brother.
- And I love music! I play an active role in my school's orchestra and freshman choir.
Now that you know some random things about me, I thought it would be nice to share a little bit about my writing style and favorite writers. Generally speaking, I write mainly poetry. However I am currently working on a still untitled novel about life in the fast lane. Many of my poems are derived quotes that I've found or heard. Some of my favorite authors include Gayle Forman (If I Stay), Tim Bowler (Firmament), and Matt De La Pena (I Will Save You). I came to YWS to get my writing exposed and hope to improve it through out time. So, that's me guys!

You sound athletic! That's so cool. We did some high jump at school PE and I quite liked it, even though I wasn't very good at sports

You've joined just in time for Review Day! It starts in a couple of hours (there's a timer on the front page) and it means that we comment on and review other people's stories and poems! That's something that people do on YWS every day anyway, but on Review Days there's a set goal of reviews that everyone will try and reach together. It's a lot of fun and it's even nicer for the authors because they get feedback on their work!

Wow! You've lots to tell 'bout yourself! Well, let me say it now, the YWS family is swimming (get it, swimming, as in your hobby? Oh forget it!) with members brimming with talent in many different things! You'll never find someone without a single talent! Oh, and you've heard it right, we are a family here. Everyone's got a role to portray, and that role is to do the best to help each and everyone of us grow in our artistic passions. Passions which most fall in writing and art.
