Inheritance Cycle SB

There was an Eragon SB before, but it kinda fell apart just as we got started. I plan for this to be a well organized SB. I am looking for one partner that knows alot about the Inheritance Cycle and is willing to Co- lead this SB. Please PM me your profile! I must accept your character before you can join!

This is long, i know. But you will be more prepared for this SB if you read it all!

Rules:
1. Eragon cannot return to Alagasia!
2. Your Character Description needs to be complete, give me every detail you can!
3. You MUST be able to post almost everyday! If you can't post for more than 2 days in a row, please try to PM me!
4. Before a new idea is introduced into the SB, such as a new plot twist, you must PM me and I must accept it!

There can only be one Shade. Dragons and Riders need to be played by the same person or it will get too confusing.

The main story idea will be something like this...

...Several riders have risen, and most have completed apprenticeship under Eragon, Saphira, Arya, and Firnen. Alagaesia is under the gentle rule of Nasuada. Elva remains constantly by Nasuada's side. Angela has all but disappeared, to where no one knows. Roran has returned to Carvahall and has completed the small fortress atop Igualda Falls. All of Alagaesia is peaceful. Elves cannot walk freely quite yet, everyone is still to superstitious for that.
Vrongard lays untouched, except for one visit made by Arya who always wished to see it.
The story starts with a rider traveling near lake Leona, searching for a past memory, one that is important, but that is hazy, and unspecified. This memory is of some great danger that could occur in unspecified circumstances. The young rider with the memory has searched for a long time, from The Beors to Vrongard. Nothing has been found. While near Dras- Leona, swirling white lights appear in the air. The Rider and Dragon are captivated and drawn to it. Its a cunning spell devised by an unkown horror in the land. A shade. It captures the Rider and dragon, and spirits them away to a lonely peak in the Beors. There, the Shade keeps them for a time, while implanting evils into their minds.
Soon, the shade, sends them out and they begin to wreak havoc in Alagaesia. The riders are all far away, and they rush towards where the Rider reappears. The Rider is confused inside, still holding onto the Memory, wondering if it was them who was the great danger. Unfortunaetly, the rider is forced against his will by another cunning spell by the Shade’s power to continue being a monster.
The riders arrive on scence, at the bottom tip of Surda, almost at the same times. They came from many different places. All join together to battle their once friend. They all receive merciless wounds and are forced into retreat. Healing themselves extracts a heavy toll upon them. They are unable to fight any more. Angela appears suddenly with Solembum in tow.


We can build from there, but this will be the way it begins!

Rider

Male or Female: Female

Name: Atanir

Age: is around 130 years old

Appearance(lots of description): short in stature but of medium build and large muscle. Raven hair down to the middle of her back, as straight as an arrow. Silvery satin skin, no blemishes. Small slanted eyes, grey in color, like the ocean on a cloudy day. high arching eyebrows, slanted cheek bones, and pointed ears give her a menacing, dangerous look.

Personality: Full of flaring anger and hatred towards the world. Hot headed and full of temper. A feisty, strong willed firecracker ready to be set off at any moment. Is offended easily. Has a sweet side if you can find it underneath the layers of anger.

History: Her parents died in the Fall of the riders. She at the time was not much more than a child, being only 30 ( remember the elves time is different) years of age. Anger and rage became her only emotions after her parents noble deaths fighting the Forsworn. The new rider, Eragon appeared nearly 100 years later. Arya, the new Queen was also a Rider. I was still enraged, even though much time had passed. Arya came with serveral new eggs, an d we all paraded before them. The last thing I had wanted was to be a rider. I didn't want to have to share my anger, pain, and hatred with anyone. But as soon as I had stepped in front of the glowing and smoldering deep red egg, it started to shake. It hatched for me and I was bound to its thoughts, and it to me. It recoiled from my misery, but I was moved towards his warm, friendly, curious and wise nature. I trained under Arya, and briefly by Eragon, and was soon a rider in full.

Other? Her sword is a deep red, mimicing the smoldering hues of her dragons scales. Sword is called Maeyla Deja- meaning quiet death in the ancient language

Up for love? if you can find your way into her hardened heart, fine, go for it. Be careful though. Her trust is limited.



Dragon

Male or Female: Male
Name: Adastrin
Age: 6 years old

Appearance: a reddish color, more of a scarlet really. he Has grown to a fairly large size since he hatched 6 years ago. Has long, gleaming talons and teeth that he keeps shining, for all dragons are prone to vanity. A long barbed tail ready to smash and crush anything at anytime, sometimes accidently. Thick, strong muscles lie underneath his deadly glittering scales. He always looks as fierce as if he was in battle, but he is sweet and caring.

Personality: Quiet and full of wisdom beyond his years. Shy and loving. Curious about how the world works. Warm, and always there, no matter how many times you might make the same mistakes, he’ll always comfort you. Willing to carry the load an extra mile. Helpful and compassionate. Analytical, meaning he thinks about every possible outcome before making a move. Is the exact opposite of Atanir. The instincts of old still course through his veins, giving him a wild and deadly side.

History: Was hatched from one of the eggs hidden in Vrongard before the death of The Dragon Slayer and black king Galbatorix. Arya, the elf queen, brought him into Du Weldenvarden where all of the elves were tested to see if they were a match. He hatched for an elf, Atanir, who became his soulmate. They trained together under Arya, along with several other new riders and were briefly tutored by Eragon. Since then they have patrolled Alagaesia.
Other: His Sire and Dam were wild dragons

Up for Love: Maybe, just maybe. Perhaps if a perfect mate were to appear, he would give it thought, but so far, no one has appeared.

After extensive thoughts, I shall bring you the rider twisted by the Shade.

Hmmm... How distressing. I thought I had posted a human Rider, though I suppose not. I'll be sure to do that today!

Character:Onin Delftsson

Male or Female: Male
Human, Elf, Shade, Urgal, Dwarf, Rider/Dragon : Human Rider
Age: 19

Appearance(lots of description): An approachable 6 feet even. Lean build, small muscles developed from recent training. Shaggy light brown hair, sunkissed as of late. Pointed chin, hooked nose, and big light brown eyes. A fantastic wide smile. Varied bruises but no notable scars.

Personality: Onin is gentle and timid. He is inclined to run away from conflict, and generally does whatever the majority wishes. As opposed to being a peacemaker, however, he will shrink into a corner and let others sort out their own problems. He is very well educated and accustomed to comfort and culture as opposed to combat. He has had no physical training, so recent fighting lessons have left him feeling useless and bitter.

History: Onin grew up in Surda, to prosperous innkeepers. The Varden's migration to Surda was a huge blessing for his family, who were left very wealthy. He has a younger sister, who is sixteen and pledged to be married in a year. Onin received the best of tutors, and can recite poems and songs. He can also play the viol. When the egg-carriers came through Surda a year and a half ago, Moana hatched for him. They were shipped to be trained by Eragon and company. Onin has made very slow progress.

Other?: Highly incompetent with a sword, Onin prefers to use a spear, though he laments that it can be thrown but once.

Character: Moana (Mow-AHN-uh)

Human, Elf, Shade, Urgal, Dwarf, Rider/Dragon : Dragon
Age: 1.5

Appearance(lots of description): Small and delicate. A very feminine looking dragon, particularly curvy and light. A glittering silver, with an underbelly like the moon and charcoal extremities. She keeps herself looking immaculate and clean. As all dragons, she looks fierce; but there is a distinct gentleness in her appearance.

Personality: Moana shares some traits with Onin. She, too, is gentle and extremely non-confrontational. But where he is intelligent, she is wise. Unlike her Rider, Moana joys in being a peacemaker and lending suggestions to arguments. She has a strong sense of justice and morals. Like all dragons she has a tendency towards vanity.

History: Hatched 18 months ago and has since trained with Onin under Eragon and Saphira particularly. Her egg was one hidden in Vroengard.

Other? Her sire and dam were bonded to Riders.

Up for love?: Yes.
