Hi :)

So.. Hello.
I kind of stumbled upon this site while looking for some grants and such for young writers, so actually being on this forum is a rather.. random.. action of mine. But I found out I like what I see, so here I am

I've been writing for years now - I have one very long novel finished (and a few shorter), and now I'm writing its sequels. Well, actually, right now I'm writing its prequel. But it is a series, anyway. I don't know how much I'll be able to post here - apart from being a bit paranoid, at least in the beginning (which you'll have to forgive me for, as I do have experiences to base it on), I'm not quite sure how it goes if I want to publish it once (and I do hope to), so...

Well, I don't want to make this too long, as it is just introduction after all.. I'll just say that I write mostly fantasy, but not in a 'classic' way - I like to explore the possibilities of human mind, wishes, dreams and such, and a bit different kind of 'magic' than it's normally found in the genre.
In case it's not obvious, I'm a girl - and you can call me Aria.

As for your novel, it actually sounds really interesting and just up my alley of the sorts of things I enjoy reading. People around here will know me as a poetry buff -- but I am actually constantly working on a novel of mine as well. I also enjoy exploring a certain character's "character arc" and delving into their psychology, growth, and development ^_^ I would love to chat with you more about writing, novels, publishing process, etc. so feel free to shoot me a message ^_^

Also, I understand your paranoia. There are a lot of fishy sites out on the web, luckily YWS is not one of them. You have the rights to what you post on here, and it will be protected through copyright simply by posting. You can read more about it here.

I'd love to chat with you I'm afraid not much of you will be able to read my finished novel, unless you understand Croatian, though.. but I always like to read others' work and talk about my own.. and if anyone wishes to talk, you can always mail me (I'm not sure if the e-mail is visible in my profile..?)

Also I've posted a piece of my work (couldn't resist a bit of showing-off, I guess), and though it's not a part of my series, I'd like to hear some of your thoughts on it.. It's called "Reminiscence - the novel", I think you'll find it without a problem.
