I get him to follow me to the famous make out spot. I flash a seductive smile as he comes closer to me. I hop up on a rock and wrap my legs around him. I kiss him hard as his hands go under my jacket.

I can hear the blood rush threw his veins. I kiss his neck and them my fangs come out. I dig them into his neck and taste the warm blood in my mouth. Once I am done, he falls to the ground. I laugh and wipe the blood from my mouth. Too easy. I then have to pick him up and toss him over the side of the mountain. "Bye." I say waving.

It's been awhile since I've been away from mom and dad on Olympus, first time I got permission to go where I want without my brother. Riding on a pegasus I breath in the cold morning air, just some time away was Winter Wonderland Lodge. I had come here in search to discover myself, what I truely want in my partner, my lover. I had been heavily experamental with other women, but I never did have a relationship with another woman. That's where things change, just as I'm over the lodge I see a couple a man and woman kissing on a make out point. Only to soon does it turn graphic, the guy coloapses and the woman pushes him off, if he wasn't dead before his fall, he was dead after he landed. I leap from my pegasus, and fall towards the lodge, my mothers blade shrouded by the mist, no one would even notice it.

I speed run back to the lodge. Once I am at he main door, I push through the doors and I start to walk through the lobby. As I walk all eyes are on me. I hear unhappy girlfriends grunt and I hear loud slaps in the face. "Ouch." I say turning around to see a guy holding his face. "That's going to leave a mark." I say, winking at him and turn back away from him.

After making my landing I make my way into the Lodge, I scan it, and I feel a strange pressence in the room, I resist the urge to pull my mothers sword, and continue in, I sit at an empty table as I watch, a woman walks in, all eyes on her and I can see why, she was drop dead beautiful. Something about her didn't feel quiet right to me tho, I grit my teeth, and just watch as another guy gets slapped by his jealous girlfriend. I give a small smile, today could be entertaining.

I walk over to a couch and drape myself across it. I unbutton my jacket and grab a magazine off the table. I flip through it and roll my eyes, seeing a cover story on Twilight. "If only I sparkled instead of burned." I mummbled under my breath. I look at my ring protecting my from sunlight and smile.

Well it was now or never, I get up from the table and walk over the girl that was on the couch. My heart hammers in my chest, am I really going to do this? I had to, I wanted to discover myself, to see if a female partner is what I need in my life, or is it that I'm just bi-curious? That was a possiblity.

"Hey sweetie, mind if I have a seat?" I ask the woman.

That put a bad taste in my mouth, that sounded like some jock's cheesy pick up line, But no turning back now, the question was set in motion.

I turn from page to page, nothing really surprising catching my eye. It was always the same old stupid things with these people. Oh someone is pregnant, they got caught doing drugs, she is getting married for the seventh time. I grunt and throw the Magazine on the table.

I sit up, looking around the lobby. Mosting easy targets, but any kill is worth it. I cross my legs, still observing. I catch a few people's gazes, but I still look past them. Then a young woman walks over to me. "Hey sweetie, mind if I have a seat?" She asks. I fight the urge to laugh at that. I am not looking for love, plus I am straight, but flirting was still fun.

"Of course. I'm Melissa." I say.

I take a seat next to her, having a few inches between us. I take a deep breath and look down at my self, I was wearing a heavy leather jacket that was unzipped, tight fitting jeans and gloves. I hoped that I looked appealing enough to some women.

"I'm Tahira, It's nice to meet you." I said.

"Likewise." She smiled warmly.

I take another deeo breath and wait for a few seconds, was there a chance I could make out now? I had no clue. But my heart hammered in my chest telling me to leave, no time to play around now, I bite my lip trying to think of what to say.

"So what brings you to a place like this?" I ask.

"Well, I needed to get away from everything. I wanted to meet new people, I was getting bored with the same old thing. I also needed to relax." I say. My phone buzzes so I reach down and get my purse. I dig my phone out and find a text from my blood donor and smirk a little. I turn back to her, and smile. "What about you?" I ask.

As I wait for her to respond, I text him back. I tell him I am fine and to not text me. I look back at her and smile and she begins to talk.

Amica and I needed a vacation, that was it. Nunck wasn't going to stop us this time, nope, not happening.

This place seemed to be perfect for us, Amica adored ice-skating, and the snow in general: she was old fashioned. I didn't at all mind the cold either; the nights where she and I would snuggle close together under the duvet, the heat insulating between my muscly body and her smaller, almost (almost!) fragile skinny figure. It was the romance that kindled in the winter months, the antithesis of the sex in summer, and I had no problem with that.

Her hands gripped mine tightly as we approached the reception, stood at which was a small yet seemingly knowledgable man, with the progressive signs of age setting in; his grey hair that switched across a gradient to white upon his head and the wrinkled brow patterning his forehead. Despite this, his blue eyes remained bright and bursting with information. His badge read: Peter Reader

"Hello," I said with a smile as I rested a hand upon the counter the man stood behind. "We booked a room under the name 'Verum'.

"One moment sir," he replied, shifting to a computer to his right and throwing on a pair of glasses.

"He's English too, speaks a lot of languages- French, Spanish, German, Italian. He also enjoys his job here, but wishes he spent more time with his family. Apparently he gets paid fifty grand a year..."

"Amica, stop with the life story," I whisper back to her. "We're supposed to be taking a break, and let's not show off with the magic here, okay?"

She nodded in compliance, but she seemed disappointed.

Us two, both being detectives for the Global Bureau of Immortal Investigators, wield powers that delve into what is known by Mortals as 'magic'. Truly, there are many sub-varieties to this field- I am a kinetic, allowing me to convert gravitational energy into that of kinetic, in short, my abilities can be used to hurl objects around. Amica, however, is a Psych Shifter, who can both read minds and, at high levels, control emotions and thoughts inside the minds of other beings. Amica was good, but her manipulation skills were somewhat lacking, and I thought it was something to do with her compassion towards Mortals.

Regardless, we stand there, and the man turns back around. "Of course, mister Infelix Selvador and miss Amica Verum. Please enjoy your stay," he grins, and hands us of door key, and we begin to haul our luggage up the staircase.

Damn, no sorcery here... I thought, humorously, as we climbed each step.

We walk in from the beautiful weather and come into the warm and cozy lobby. I roll my suitcase and stand Infelix at the front desk. I grip his hand tightly and smile. He greets the man and tells us our name. He tells us to wait a moment and instantly I know everything about him.

"He's English too, speaks a lot of languages- French, Spanish, German, Italian. He also enjoys his job here, but wishes he spent more time with his family. Apparently he gets paid fifty grand a year..." I say but he cuts me off. He tells me we are on a break and I nod. It is a little disappointing, but I nod. He gives us the key and we are left to walk up the stair .

We walk over to them and I look at all of them. I grip his hand and the luggage and we start to walk up. It does not take long to get to the third floor. We soon find our room and he leads me in. I smile and I set my things down on the bed. As I unpac, I catch a glimpse out the window ans see people ice skating. I smile big and turn to I Felix. "Look at that." I say smiling. He walks over and looks out as well.

Amica called me over to the misty window, as our breath began to condense upon the glass and rubbed it with my hand so it was transparent again. I gazed out, seeing a group of people ice-skating: children, teenagers, young adults, and even a few old people too. It was a glorious sight, and I was clever enough to take a hint.

"Let's finish unpacking and maybe grab something quick to eat or drink and then we can see about having a dance. Okay?"

Amica nodded her head, smiling solemnly and not even bothering to return eye contact; it was clear to me that she was busy admiring the scene. I turned around and hauled the navy-blue suitcase onto the bed and unzipped the main compartment, checking that everything was still in the way we had left it back in Heathrow.

"Do you ever bring a suitable amount of clothes with you?" I chuckled, examining the assortment of outfits that Amica had packed.

I walk over to the bed and plop down on it, facing him. Laying on my stomach, I rest my head on my hands and look at my clothes. "I know, I really do not I packed enough." I say smiling.

He chuckles and I stand up, unpacking with him. I quickly take my jacket off and lay it across the chair. I walk back over to the suitcase and put all the clothes into drawers. Every time I pass the the window, I smile. I turn to
Infelix, who is unpacking still. I stop him as he is going back to the suitcase. "I am really happy we came here." I say smiling.

"So am I; we really needed the break from work. Nunck makes us work much too hard so I wasn't gonna let him change my mind about getting a week away. We did well on the Olvarrd case anyways," I replied.

I threw all of my clothes into the drawers: underwear, shirts, bottoms and socks. I then hooked my two jackets up in the wardrobe that was built into the wall, next to the seven that belonged to Amica. I sighed deeply and looked back at her, I supposed she possessed a feminine charm yet intriguing personality that made me fall in love with her all those years ago (nodody'd guess that it had been fifty), and today we'd still remained completely faithful to each other.

This holiday, despite what Amica thought, was also a perfect opportunity for me to pop the question, sometimes I thought she was getting impatient, and what could be a better time than at the end of the holiday? Luckily, I'd managed to borrow some pills from Jeffreise to block Amica from reading my thoughts... and ruining the surprise. I trusted her, but she was secretly mischievous, and this was a safety precaution for both her and I.

Smiling much too brightly, I lumped on the bed, finished unpacking, and yawned.

"Should we head down to a little cafe around here? Or just go straight to a resturaunt?" I asked her.
