Pals, so far I found out how to use the forums. On this website, what else can I do. And yes, I would love to be a young author. My role model, Justin D'Ath, writes great books so... I thought it would be fun to write my own books.... so yeah. I would like to get help and guidance on writing a book so I signed up here. (By the way, I'm 10 and call me Gabbi! )
Please check your e-mail as there's a small matter of parental permission we need to fix, but don't worry, it shouldn't be a big issue.
A great place to start on YWS is the browse section as you can have a look at what writing is out there and start reading a few things the members have written and get a feel for how other members respond to these works. Reviewing is pretty easy to pick up and there's lots of tips if you know where to look (the knowledge base in the forums section is a good place to start).
There's also a chat room where you can talk to other writers and there are fun areas like the storybooks section where you can co-write with others or join in with a roleplay based story.
And this is a lot of information and possibly a bit scary! So I'll leave it there for now but there's lots to do and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here!
