TMI (The Mortal Instruments)

So let us be our own character. No copying of names from the original series but the concepts are pretty much the same, Downwolders (even if I am against it,) are welcomed. Write in first person, please.

The rules are basically the same.
No swearing.
No sex.
No excess violence.

First person to join the thread gets to give the setting (place, time, etc.)

I'd definitely join, the Mortal Instruments series is my favorite! Although I think this needs to be on the storybook page...

Name: Veronica Winter
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Shadowhunter/ nephilium
Physical discription: Veronica is tall, about 5'7", and pale. She has dark brown hair, so dark it looks almost black, long and wavy. She has piercing blue eyes, cold and calculating. She has many freckles, but she covers them up with makeup because people do not take her seriously with them. Her face is angular but not gaunt, and her body is lean but muscular from years of training. When she is not in her training gear, she wears gothic clothes, skull blouses, ect.
Personality: Veronica is kind and caring to those she loves, but is cold and calculating towards her enemies. She is quick to judge, going by her gut instinct, which has saved her life many times. She loves animals, especially Church the cat, the few times she's visited. She is fierce in battle but gentle in life. She is a ball of anger and contradictions.
History: Veronica was abandoned by her parents when she was a baby, and still does not know who they are. She was left on the doorstep of the London Institute and was raised their by the Institute's caretakers ever since.
Weapon of choice: Her preferred weapon is a set of small daggers she got for her tenth birthday. She is also very handy with a bow and arrow and is not bad at hand-to-hand combat.
Specail runes: Veronica is especially good at healing and bravery runes.
Up for love?: Yes, straight
Anything else?: She is very talented at the piano and has a good singing voice. She also makes a mean lasangna.

Sionarama: Can't really help you out there; it's a long & complex plot. But if you read the very first book, then I'm sure you'd get it. It's called City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

Name: Wesley Herondale

Age: 18.

Gender: Male.

Race: Nephilim/Shadowhunter.

Appearance: Wes has shaggy chocolate brown hair, a fair complexion, and intense indigo blue eyes. He has a tall, muscular body of 5'8". He's usually seen with a bored, uninterested expression on his face and he has a scar on his collar bone that you should never speak of it.

Personality: Wes is a complete douchebag. There's no sweet coating when it comes to him. He's very outspoken, very rude, and very blunt. He is also very deceiving and manipulative. He isn't really kind to anyone unless he likes them, and he doesn't like people. The only person he loves is his sister.

History: Wes was born to Jasmine and Gerard Herondale, two very high-class members of the Clave. He lived in Idris most of his life, up until he was 15. That's when Valentine attacked and his parents were killed in battle. Wes and Mariah was sent to the Institution in ______, with only three bags of their belongings.

Other: He's very antisocial and asexual when it comes to love, but I'd like for a girl to help soften him and make him happier. He's straight. He's extremely protective of Mariah, so watch out. He always has his seraph blade, Azerath, attached to his right leg.

Appearance: Mariah looks so much like her brother, with her long chcolate brown curls and creamy complexion. The only difference is her gold-green eyes. She is very petite and curvy, with a height of 5'4". She is usually in a good mood so she smiles a lot.

Personality: Mariah is the opposite of Wes. She is a soft-spoken sweetheart who makes people laugh so hard, they often shed tears. She's a very compassionate, kind soul who loves and trusts everyone she meets, and she would probably die for anyone and everyone if it wasn't for Wes. She hardly ever gets angry and she tries to be optimistic.

History: Mariah was born to Jasmine and Gerard Herondale, two very high-class members of the Clave. She lived in Idris most of his life, up until she was 13. That's when Valentine attacked and her parents were killed in battle. Wes and Mariah was sent to the Institution in ______, with only three bags of their belongings.

Other: Mariah loves her brother with all her heart and will do anything to keep him safe. She's up for love and she's bisexual. She carries around five stilettio daggers, located around various places in her body.

We really need to think of a location for this. There's New York and London, of course, but maybe we should stick to the U.S. It's easier.

I know! I've read all the books and the side series, I just wanted to know what the plot is. Are we against vampires? Demons? Will Clary and Jace be in it? What time period? Etc. I'd love to join and I just wanted some information because there is no direction right now.

Ok. I guess that means me, so I guess modern day Englad/United States maybe. Does that sound good to everyone?

I really don't mean to be annoying but is there a full plot? Like are we fighting anyone in particular? Who are we up against? Are we up against someone? It's just hard to "cowrite" in a "book" for me if I do not know the plot. But I would love to be a downworlder.

I have no idea. Probably we would be up against Valentine and his cohorts. Other than that I have no idea.

I agree, more information in the plot would've been nice. I mean, this is YOUR SB, Mimiko. Please tell us what we're fighting for.
