City by the Sea 2

Alexis

"I do not know." I say. "We could go see a movie, or rent bikes or walk on the beach." I name a lot of things that pop into my head. "What do you want to do?" I ask.

Elijah

I think, biting my lip, "Uh, let's go for the movie and then take a walk on the beach afterwards."

Alexis

"Okay I will be ready soon. I have to change." I say. I kiss him and run up the stairs. I change into a short blue jean dress and straighten my hair. I put on a few spays of perfume on and head back down and wait for him. I grab my purse and wait for him out side.

Elijah

I head home and change as well, wearing a pair of jeans and a random t-shirt beneath my jacket. Once done, I head back outside and find her waiting. Taking her hand, I smile and sigh, "Ready?"

Alexis

I smile and take his hand and we get in the car. I start the car and we drive to the theater. We arrive about in about five minutes and we get out. We check the movie list and study. "Can we please see a scary movie?" I ask. "I have never seen one and I want to see one with a person I trust."

Elijah

I smile and study the list, squeezing her hand, "Of course. Which one?"

Alexis

"Um." I say looking at the screen. "Let's see Paranormal Activity 1." I say

Elijah

I smile and nod, paying for the tickets.

Alexis

I sigh a little when he pays for the tickets. I insist on paying for popcorn and a drink. Before he can object, I pay anyway. I kiss his cheek as he lets out a sigh. He carries the popcorn and I carry the drink as we walk to the theater. We walk in and no one is in there. I smile and we get the best seats.

Elijah

She pays for the popcorn and a drink before I can object, kissing my cheek as I sigh. I carry the bag of popcorn and she takes the drink as we walk into the theater. She smiles, seeing that we're the first ones in there, and takes me to the best seat. I smile back and sit at her side.

Alexis

I smile as he sits next to me. The movie begins to play and we are still the only ones here. The movie starts and creepy music starts to play, I grip his hand and lean close to him.

The movie keeps playing and something pops out at us. I scream and end up laughing. I lay my head on his shoulder in embarrassment.

Elijah

I smile and watch her reactions more so than the movie, laughing with her and wrapping an arm around her when she leans her head on my shoulder.

Alexis

I am estimating that every five minutes I scream at least twist. "Why would people make this. This is horrible." I say.

Elijah

I flash a smile, "You're the one who suggested it."

Alexis

I look up to him and smile. "I am enjoying it, can't you tell?" I ask. "I would just love to know what went through the minds of the people that made this movie." i say
