Alexis

"Not your fault. I am just nothing like them. I am pretty easy going unless I am stressed, they are never easy going. That say opposites attract. Well it only works with magnets." I say. "Love them though." I say.

Elijah

I nod, sighing, "My step-mother and I never got along much. She preferred the children she had with my father. My dad, though, he tried his best to include me in everything. We were like replicas. Got along until we were too similar to stand in the same room."

Alexis

I nod. "My brother." I start. "He was a lot older than me, so he moved out." I explained. "We were so much a like. The only thing was, we were all the good things about each other. So I was pretty sad when he moved out." I say

Elijah

I nod, "Do you see him anymore?"

Alexis

"When ever possible. He is a missionary in Brazil so I see him on holidays and whenever he is in town." I say. "What are your siblings like?" I ask.

Elijah

Sighing, I face forward again, "Alice, the closest in age to me, is alright. She's studying medicine at Boston University. We were okay growing up. She was quiet and kept to herself most times, unlike Bradley. God... I didn't get along with Brad at all. He was the youngest and was always asking for everything. He's a senior in high school right now, I think. Captain of the football team. The stereotypical a*s, pardon my French."

Alexis

I laugh a little. "I am sorry, but that was the funniest thing I have heard all day."

Elijah

I smile and look back at her, shrugging, "S'fine by me. Like I said, didn't get along with him at all. If the joke is on him, awesome."

Alexis

I chuckle a little more. "Okay then." I say. "It is all on him."

Elijah

I smile and nod, not sure what else to say.

Alexis

"Your car is ready." They say.

"Thank you." I say. I pay for the damages and get my keys for them. "You can follow me home if you need to." I say.

"Yep I am going to need to." he says.

I get in my car and pull up to the stop sign and wait for him. He pull behind me and I start to head home.

Elijah

I carefully follow her car home and pull into my driveway, getting out and waving at her in thanks before heading inside.

Alexis

I wave goodbye and go back inside. I make sure everything is ready for work in the morning before plopping down on my bed and staring at the ceiling, trying to go to sleep.

Elijah

I walk inside and set the stone back in the counter, not wanting to deal with it. I head upstairs and plop down in bed, quickly falling back asleep.

Alexis

As I lay in bed, not able to sleep, I begin to hear something down stairs. I get up and walk down the stairs quietly. I go into the living room and see my front door wide open. I start to get worried as I walk to close it. I turn around and there stands a man in black.

I let out a scream and dart to the stair. He runs after me. As I go up the stairs, he pulls one of my legs and I stumble. I let out a loud cry. I run into my room and close the door, but he pushes it open hard. I slam into the wall. A sharp cry of pain come out. He throws me one and wraps his hands around my neck
