So, I drew this a few years ago, maybe when I was 11. And I just wanted to post this up because it's been at the back of my files for so long and I figured this baby needed some recognition.
But be warned...it's not that good...

This is not good?! Phooey I say! Phoeey! This is very good! Sure, there are a few things that need to be nitpicked, but you did this when you were 11! I could draw stick figures when I was 11!
Alright, I'll start with just the nitpicks. The first thing, like you said, was that there was no shading. You don't necessarily have to have shading, but I do think it takes away a little bit from the drawing, especially in the clothes at least. The other thing is the feather (?) above her ear. That looks a little simplistic, and it could use some more shading or coloring. I don't really have much more than that, because I think it was really good.
Onto the good stuff. Overall, you did really great on that. The face is really great, the proportions all seem right, so great with that. What really struck me though was the expression. You really captured her expression, and it is really great. The facial features are also really great, especially the eye, and I almost never say that lol.
I really liked that, you should put some more up soon, and I'd love to review them.

It's not bad, honestly, especially considering you drew it when you were eleven! My art was just terrible when I was that age.
I really like how you did her eye, and the detail in the hair is nice. I think it would look nicer and more complete with some shading, but it's fine this way, too. The proportions on the face are great, her lips are a little bit of an odd shape but lips are a pain in the butt to draw. (Well, for some people anyway--people like me!)
Overall, looks great! Nice job!

Just wanted to say good show. Otherwise? I need to see more of your modern things, so I can actually give you a critique. Writing a critique on an old work is more or less pointless, you see.
As it is, I find it beautiful, relaxing. Makes me think of spring.
