So far, everyone has checked into the hotel. There are a few people in the spa, a few more in the library, and one going surfing. You can show up at the airstrip and get a ride up to the hotel, or just start in the hotel, your choice.
Basically, everyone checked into the hotel already. It would probably be easiest to have your character arrive late. If he does, he'll walk in on chaos in the lobby--one person (Ferdinand) with a head injury, another (Nora Sato) completely unconscious, stalker boyfriend drama (Jake and Ellie) and the manager, Annie Marino, nowhere to be found (Jade is looking for her). There is also someone in the library (Rachel). The power went out for a while, and although it's back on now, it's still stormy outside.
Sure. I can make you a guest spot, but if you'd like, there are also behind-the-scenes characters, such as the NPCs I just killed. (Your character wouldn't die, of course.)
That, or you can make up a new character. There aren't many NPCs still alive at the moment. I'm letting the SBers figure out what exactly is going on, so if you want to go with the second option, I'll PM you with details about who is behind all that.
