When the game begins, it REALLY begins. A town in the state of Nebraska is where you, and many other roleplayers, reside. You also attened a group for writers every tuesday and thursday where citizens from ages sixteen to twenty-five take time to give advice, share ideas, and read works of art to other writers. Following me so far?

Well, one day, a newer, young male member brought a small electronic divice to the meeting. He informs everyone that he seriously thinks that it's magical, and he want's to know what it does. Immediately everyone shuts the idea out, some rideculing him for his 'insane' idea. You would think that writers would be more supportive, right? The ridicule went to far and someone bumped into the contraption, pressing the button on the top. There's a big flash, then some smoke, and the next think you know, you are one of your characters. The machine is gone. and there is an off white sheet of paper folded and sealed with a blue emblem.

You and your fellow writers open the note to find a message explaining your situation. You each have three options, the first is to try to live your life as your character. The second is to enter a roleplaying world and live there, remaining your character. The last option is to enter the roleplaying world, find the creator of this contraption, and try to convince him to give you your life back.

What will you choose?

I have a question: suppose Joe is turned into his character, Bob. If Bob is completely different from Joe personality-wise, would Bob/Joe act like Bob, stay like Joe, or have a split-personality-bipolar type thing? I don't know if that question makes any sense....

Gosh. I know I'm new, but I'd love to reserve a spot~ :3 This sounds incredibly interesting.
I have to write. I have to write the same way I have to eat, the same way I have to breathe. It's like life to me. I have no idea where I'd be if I didn't do what I do.

Could I join? I've never done a story book before, so I don't really understand what to do...

Hey. Would love to join the "Switched" Storybook. I actually had an idea for a book like that, except it happened to her friends & family too... anyway, here's my profile!

Storybook character
Name: Amber Bailey Werner
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race of Character: Human
Character powers: Can speed-read and write in braile
Appearence: Amber is short, only 5'2", and is blind. She has short, choppy black hair and blue eyes. She typically wears t-shirts with snarky or sarcastic statements on them. She also wears loose-fitting jeans, combat boots, and a worn leather jacket. She uses a guide-dog, who also gets transported into the story and becomes a character.
Personality: Amber is sarastic, and has a good sense of humor. She is very intelligent, and reads Stephen Hawking books for fun over the summer. She is outgoing and fun. Strengths: Amber is a fast learner, and adapts quickly to changes. She has a great sense of hearing. She also is a good judge of character. Weaknesses: Since she is blind, she has a hard time trying to figure out where she is if she does not expect to be there. She has a temper, and you don't want to be on the recieving end of that.
History: Amber grew up in a small suburban neighborhood. She was blind from birth, due to a recessive trait both parents had. Growing up, Amber had two older brothers, twins, but onedied in a car crash. She doesn't even remember him. Her other brother, David, is fiercely protective of his sister. He is a senior at ther high school. She started writing at the age of eight, and loved it from then on. She found the writers' group on an nline writers' website, much like Young Writers.
Up for love?: Yes, but nothin really serious. Straight.
Thoughts on your choices: Stay as the character.

Character's Book Character

For a while, she was homeless, until the Order found her, which took her under its wing and helped her train to fight the people that have been hunting her, who want to exterminate the Nefilim.
