This SB takes place with Ellington High's XC team during the 30 minute "Study Hall" in the Health room before you're allowed to go change, practices, pasta parties, the bus rides to meets, meets themselves, dinners after meets -- things of the sort. But remember, this isn't a school SB.
Some of you are freshmen just coming to high school and this is your first school sport experience. Some of you are Seniors that have been doing this for four years. Some of you may Sophmores, Juniors, or even Seniors who are doing this for the first year. Some of you may have gotten cut from the sport you really wanted. Some of you are in it because you love running. But all of you are completely different people. And all of you are in this family.
Your coaches? Coach Al, otherwise known as Papa Al, and Coach Mike, otherwise known as Big Mike.

About The Coaches:
Papa Al is called that by you guys for a reason - he's a)like the father of the team/family and b)he's fatherly.
To give you an idea about him, I'm going to use my coach: I was running my first meet ever, and doing not so hot in my opinion. I was nearly to the finish and my pace started to drag. All I wanted to do was quit! My coach had been standing to the side at that point, and he noticed that I was just about done with the whole thing. He dropped his clipboard and started running with me, saying I could do it, I was almost there, almost finished, not much longer, I was doing a great job. He finished the race with me to keep me going.
In addition to the fatherlyness, he's never one to yell, he loves to joke around, but he knows when to be serious and how to get you serious. He pushes you because he knows you can do it.
Big Mike (This one is 100% made-up) was given his name because he uses a big voice -- it has absolutely nothing to do with his body. If it did, it would be ironic, because Big Mike is as skinny as a pole. Big Mike boxed as a kid, and it messed up his ears, so he always yells, and sometimes you'll have to yell to have him hear you. Big Mike is a bit silly and just like the kids on the team, but knows when to take his leadership role and get serious.
**I'm interested to see how this turns out - I had the idea and I don't think I've ever seen something like it on here. What would you guys think about me making one for the school play cast and crew?**
