The Camp NaNo grand opening!

Camp NaNo begins tonight! ^^ From the first to the thirty first, participants will be writing until a) their fingertips hurt or b) (hopefully this doesn't happen!) your fingers will be worn down to a stump.

Ouch.

So, I had an idea that we all celebrate in chat for the opening of Camp NaNo - you know, with games and camp fires and marshmallows and all? (of course, due to health and safety, the camp fires will be in one's imagination) Afterwards, we can bring on the word wars when Big Ben strikes!

If you'd like to participate, come and join us at main chat at 10.30 PM GMT. (This is 11.30 pm in Britain and Ireland) You can use this time zone converter to convert the time into yours.

If, by 11 pm GMT (12 am in Britain and Ireland) Camp NaNo hasn't begun for you, still feel free to come - the word wars can be your "warm up". (or you could just begin early. Keep it a secret though!)

Camp NaNo is all August, so expect loads of wordwars. And I'm always ready to bring out the marshmallows, camp fires and chocolate fountains. Just five me a shout.

(Of course, health and safety means that these things stay firmly within one's head. But we'll pretend it's real )

You can almost always find people hanging in chat who are willing to strike up a wordwar with you! There may be more "official" gatherings as the month progresses but who knows!

Lauren is completely right I didn't realise people would like more gatherings exactly, but if so, I'm certainly up for one!
