Luke Lucario

I took Arlan's hand and shook it a little. The chill of his hand sent chills up my spine. The Phantom Thief in me was spooked as ever. Careful, Lucario. This Arlan might be more of a challenge than you'd like to handle. I took my hand from Arlan. "Your name means 'promise.' I know so. I've traveled around to know that. Mostly in some culture, a name with a meaning like that has great importance. Now don't think I'm prying. I'm just speaking my mind." You speak more than just your mind nowadays, Lucario. I sighed. "And trust me. When I speak my mind, there's no point in stopping me."

I'm thrown back and crash into a crowd of tables. Shaking my head off, I find I can't stop laughing as I stand.

Whoa...what the hell was that?

`````````````````
Arlan
Yes, I know that.
I look away from Luke, pretending to be interested in my drink as memories of my old life resurface. The girl, who had thrown a guy twenty feet backwards with a simple touch, asks us a question again. Just as I'm to answer, once more, another guy comes up. He addresses her first and then turns to us.
"Do you guys want to hang?" he asks.
"Thank you, but I'm quite fine where I am," I reply, "Have a good time though, sir."
I look at the girl, to answer her question.
"I'm here for a rest, a look around," I say, "Not up for moving around just yet."
I'm never what I like
I'm double sided
And I just can't hide
I kind of like it
When I make you cry
'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up
I looked around and saw a lone girl. I got up and went to her. "May I have this dance?"
She was in my arms in minutes and we danced like leaves. After a while, she left me alone.
I sat down next to Arlan. "I dance with the ladies when I get my chance, which isn't very often nowadays."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
"Hang out? I'm a party girl, I don't "hang out" BORING!" I said nearly laughing.
I look to the other guys I needed some fun, I looked around. No guys were really worth my attention here, not like Jason was. Which reminded me, I had a bit of a date with him and should get to it. I walk out the door and make a quick trip to Olympus, calling a pegisus and I was gone.
The blaring music pounded against my battered eardrums as body after body wedged me against the wall. I groaned aloud, maybe it was a bad idea to come here, nothing good had happened tonight, first my car had slammed into the curb, shattering the main frame and leaving me a sodden mess out on the dark street. And then! Out of all the people to rescue me from the biting cold it was Zac, the guy that hooks up with every girl he can get his hands on! Of course he would take me here where he flirted clockwise around the room! Another groan escaped my clenched teeth as he slowly walked overer here.
If you don't have a trophy case that spins into a secret room with a press of a button, then your an idiot.
I should infinitely prefer a book.
