Book Cover for Soulkana

Hey, Soul! I'm not sure if this is the kind of cover you were looking for, but I gave it a shot. Your request did me a lot of good because it got me off my lazy bum to start drawing again So thanks!

I made three different versions (personally I like the first but the others look more sinister, if that's what you were going for). They aren't quite finished, I'd like to know if you want the book colored (and what color) and also the title and whatever you want as the author's name.







Oh, and I was planning on writing the title along the middle chain, and the author's name in the bottom right corner.

These are lovely! I love the vibrant colour splashes in the first one, but I like the starkness of the third one too. I like the blue/black background of the second one, but I'd like it if the figure wasn't smoky-blurred so it stood out more.

Also the figure's foot. The one that's on the ground. It doesn't look like it's on the ground. The blurring of the figure's hair helps it look like a part of the background, overall picture, like they're all one, not two different components. The foot stands out too much, so it looks weightless, like the figure is obviously not a part of the same picture that the background is in.
Same with the chained brick in the hand. They don't look like they're part of the same picture.

Does that make sense? >_<
