Plot: Angoria’s prince is not who he appears to be; he’s a fake, a thief who has switched places with the real prince because they both wished to know adventure. Only there’s a problem--the “prince” is about to be crowned King and marry a neighbouring kingdom’s princess. And the thief refuses to switch back, naming his thief persona--and the real prince--as a liar and a traitor to the crown. He has assumed the prince’s identity to claim the throne.
The real prince, now living the thief’s life, has been forced into hiding, simply so that he is not captured--or worse, killed. He refuses to leave his kingdom in a false king’s hands. Yet, things are difficult when the pair could practically be twins and are hard to tell apart when together, even by those who know them well.
And everything is about to become complicated, though, when rumours start to circulate--rumours of dragons and elves, and witches. Mages some call them; magic users and dragonriders, and tales of dragon fire. While these rumours spread, the real prince fights for his life, never staying in one place for long yet never leaving the city for he refuses to give up.
As the coronation draws nearer, so do the guards who scour the city for the prince-turned-thief; while his double plays cat-and-mouse with the Royal Army, the thief-turned-prince courts the princess from the neighbouring kingdom, and the subjects of those rumours? They are closing in on Tálamon, seeking many things not yet disclosed.
And, above it all, Angoria’s fate hangs in the balance. Whose side will you be on?

Important Information:
The Realm - A Map:
Spoiler
Races/People:
Spoiler
There are very few races other than human in Midir and Saoirse, and those include Sorcerers or Sorceresses and perhaps a god or goddess. The majority of Midirans and Saoirites are human and have little to no magical powers, if any.
-Elves: Elves are creatures of nature and can live for hundreds, even thousands, of years. Their powers relate to nature and the elements. They highly dislike anything too advanced and tend to avoid cities, except for the few who live in Elvish cities. Elves are rarely seen away from the forests and are almost unheard of in Angoria.
-Sorcerers And Sorceresses/Mages: Sorcerers--or mages, as they’re sometimes known--are an interesting sub-race of humans. These are humans born with magic and rarely have any of the aspects of any other race in Angoria and the surrounding kingdoms. They are strictly human and even if they chose to reproduce with any other race, their children will be born with magic. They may have trace characteristics of the other races, but every time they will be born with Sorcerer magic, which is anything from transformation (not to be confused with shape-shifting) to telekinesis. They also can live up to three centuries, sometimes more and are taught from an early age to harness their magic, lest they lose control of it.
-Dragons:
Dragons are giant winged creatures with tough scales covering their hides. They can breathe fire, water, lightning, or any one of the other elements, including spirit. Dragons are dangerous creatures. They thrive on death and destruction, and on chaos--but only when enraged. A calm dragon is wild and dangerous, yet kind, thriving on peace and life, and on order. It's rare for one to be semi-tamed, and even rarer for someone from any race to form a bond with one and ride it, though it has happened before. Once or twice.
Dragons are purely wild spirits, almost untamable, but they do possess great Wisdom and Intelligence. As an ally, they are a formidable force.
-Humans: Humans can be found throughout Angoria and the surrounding kingdoms and have little to no magic. Any magic they do have is limited and uncontrolled. Humans make wonderful soldiers, though.

Ranks:
Spoiler
There are many ranks in the realm of Angoria and the surrounding kingdoms, including Royalty, thief, assassin and orphan, among others. They are as diverse as the colour of one’s skin, hair or eyes. Many of those in Angoria or its neighbours are in the poorer categories--being pickpockets and thieves, beggars and orphans.
-Royalty: Royalty are humans who have been born into power, into royalty. Or those who have taken it. Princes, Princesses, Kings, Queens, Lords and Ladies; someone who rules over others. Normally, they are human...although you sometimes find a Sorcerer claiming the title of king or a Goddess parading around as queen.
-Soldiers & Royal Guards: Soldiers and Royal Guards are humans who have signed themselves into the King's keeping. They are either a Soldier (of any rank) or a Royal Guard and are expert fighters, tending to be older (especially if a General or high-ranking Guard) and loyal to Midir and its King or Saoirse and its Queen.
-Commoners: Those who have no royal blood. Humans who are born to those without a title. They are the bulk of the human populace, running shops and markets, and making food and wine for others. They are usually content with their lives.
-The Poor: Thieves and pickpockets, beggars and orphans, assassins, slaves and slave traders. The poor are usually the scum of the social order, those who have killed for money, stolen one time too many or dealt in the trading of others as slaves, people with no control or freedom over their own lives. Or even those who no longer have a family. These are the desperate and the lost, the ones who having nothing left to lose. They are the ones who have taken over a ruin and turned it into a haven.
