So I have been majorly stuck on the beginning of my novel. You see I am telling my novel in third person for three major characters. But the thing is I'm pretty sure one of my major characters viewpoint needs to be told in the first person. Leaving the other two in third. I know it sounds incredibly tricky but I think it's the only way I can move forward. Would that lose the readers attention doing that or no?
So long as you establish that pattern at the very beginning, you should be fine. Things like PoV switches need to be established properly for readers to get an expectation for what's going on.
