Hello, all.
Basically, this is a contest where the participants are randomly assigned a painting, and they must write a story based on either the painting's scene, characters, a mix, or anything that pops into their mind related to that painting at some level.
I'll be judging based on: grammar and spelling, wordflow, plot and elements primarily, but really on everything your novella contains.

The Prizes:
1st place: 5 reviews (of any piece you wish)
2nd place: 4 reviews (once again, anything you wish)
3rd place: 3 reviews (what it says above)
Also, since YWS is all about giving and taking (or so I'm told ), all participants that have not hit the top 3 will receive 1 review.

So, how will this progress?
Basically, apply, we'll give you your painting once we've reached a certain amount of people, and you can then write. I'll PM you once we've reached a deadline, of no fixed date (yet). Rest assured you'll be given plenty of time, though. There's a 5,000 word minimum, and no take-backsies.
Write well, and, most of all, have fun! :D
