Yes, I do. I had to get on a flight before I had time to make her profile, but i'm on it. Also, seeing that we have one male thus far, and i'm kinda loving Jefferson, we could use him as one of the three boys that are Mates. Just an idea :)

Name: Laila Jan

http://weheartit.com/entry/13104884/in-set/430635-girls

Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when Laila was eight. Her mother died a year later, a week after Laila's ninth birthday. Her grandfather then passed away - some say it was from grief. A year and a half ago, Laila was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (a type of cancer). She moved up to New York to get better treatment. She's gone through chemotherapy, and is still under observation. They suspect the cancer is going to relapse soon, and she will need to go back into chemotherapy.

FictionFanatic, loving both your characters.
I was just having the same thought about Jefferson. If we give it a few more days and then move it if we still have the place (he can still be the cafe runner)?

For the room-mates, how about Laila advertises for a room-mate and Naya replies, then the day Naya moves in Jessie turns up in the city with nowhere to go and only her old friend to turn to and so the girls set her up on the sofa?

We're starting tomorrow, with or without finished profiles and another male... :D Here's my introductory post! You guys can all be in the café!

Jessie huddled under a shop front and took out her mobile. She could only think of one person to call; she knew hardly anyone in this city.
The phone rang five times before it was picked up, "Jessie!" a crackly voice cried excitedly, and the warmth and friendliness made Jessie feel so much better. She'd felt awkward about asking such a big favour when she hadn't seen Naya for so long, but she knew that Naya would always be willing to help.
"Hiya," said Jessie, moving to try and get a better reception, "I- I was wondering if I could ask a favour?"
"Of course!" said Naya, "What do you want?"
"Could- Could I meet you somewhere?"
"Yeah, I'm in a café near my apartment with some friends- The Blue Dog."
Naya reeled off a list of directions as Jessie hailed a cab, "I'll be there in ten minutes!" said Jessie, as the cab rounded a corner. She was already feeling so much better...

Soon, Jessie was at The Blue Dog. It was a warm and inviting looking café with several pieces of surprisingly good art on the walls. Jessie looked around for Naya and saw her, looking beautifully quirky and hip as ever, sitting at a table with a few other people.
Naya looked up and saw her, "JESSIE!" she cried, running across the café and wrapping her in a hug, "You're soaking! Come, sit down and get dry and I'll introduce you to my friends!"
"Try not to flood my cafe!" cried an attractive young man from behind the counter, obviously the owner.
Naya laughed, "That's Jefferson. This is Sam," she gestured at another young man, who smiled pleasantly, "And this is Laila, my new flat-mate. We're waiting for-"
"Laila, I guess what I have to ask involves you too. Could I stay with you guys for a while? My boyfriend and I broke up and I've got nowhere to go..." Jessie fought to keep tears back. She realised how pathetic she must look to these people she'd just met, "Please? Just 'til I get back on my feet?"

We can have 'til Tuesday or Wednesday to all get introduced...

Spoiler
Sorry this is so short. I hope it's okay :)

Naya didn't even hesitate to respond. "Of course you can, Jessie!" She didn't know whether to feel slighty disturbed by her childhood friends appearance - with her wet hair, and mismatched outfit - or feel sorry for the fact that she was clearly suffering from a very bad break-up. But seeing as Naya hadn't seen Jessie in over three years, she decided to go with the latter.

"He broke up with you?" Naya sighed before muttering bitterly, "Men ..."

Jefferson spoke up at that. "Hey! As a man myself, can I just say that we're not all that bad ..."

Naya just raised a sceptical brow at him in response. She'd had enough experience with men to last her a lifetime. As far as she was concerned they truly were 'that bad' - every single one of them. She turned back to face Jessie. "Let me get you get you some coffee. You can tell me all about what happened once we get home."

*i forgot to mention, Laila has some hair - it's grown out but is still very short, almost as if she gave herself a boy's haircut*

Jefferson:

When the girl came in soaking wet, I called "Try not to flood my cafe!"

This earned a chorus of laughter from my friends. When the girl named Jessie, as Naya called her, spilled her story, I yelled, "Hey, not all men!"

I whipped up a caramel latte for her, topping it with whippedcream and caramel sauce.

I slid it in front of her, placing my hand on her shoulder comfortingly "First one's on the house, Jessie." I smiled at her, pulling her siaking hair out from the inside of her jcket, and said, "I'm Jefferson. Jefferson Dashner."

With that, I went to get a towel for her and for the floor.
