Cara---

Cara sighed, "I'm still sorry. As I said before. I can be stupid." She smiled looking up at him. Her stomach dropped as he started to descend. She burried her face in his chest.

"Cara, look." He laughed. She listened, it was the least she could to sense she had been stupid. Her stomach slowly got used to the descent and she rested her head on his chest watching everythign flash by.

Christian

"Enjoying the view?"

She shook her head slightly, "only a little."

I held onto her tighter and we landed. Before I put her down I looked at her, "promise you'll be a good girl and not run off?"

Cara---

"I'll try." She replied smiling. "Are we going to get seperated?"

She hoped they wouldn't. She felt safer with him next to her and she never felt that around another human. She only trusted Fire, and now she felt safe around other people. It was a good step. She clutched his hand in her own as tingles flew up her arm.

"I won't let us," I said holding onto her hand. I wished I could find out how my cousin and brother were doing. It gnawed at me. I wanted to go back and help, but I wanted to make sure Cara was safe more.

Cara---

Cara smiled and followed him into the tower. She looked around at all the mages. Fear ran up and down her back. She didn't know them, what if they were bad, what if Christian didn't know. What if they were going to hurt him or her. She moved closer to Christian,

Stop being scared! She yelled at herself.

I remembered a name my great uncle had told me once, of a mage that was a jerk, but an honerable mage. I asked to see him. We were led right to him. I was pleased.

Ramere-

I launched spell after spell at the mage, Caspan attacking with a weapon and Arabella running up behind me. Kayla, Storm, and Richard were also coming with an assorted array of weapons.

The spells were draining me. Fast. I still hadn't recovered my strength from teleporting all of them, and fighting another mage, just as powerful if not more so, was getting harder and harder.

I just hoped I'd last long enough to give the others a chance. Perhaps if I could distract him, the others could attack with their weapons...

I shot another weak fireball at him, which he deflected easily. I cursed mentally, which earned me a chuckle from the mage.

"Give it up, weakling. You're no match."

I gritted my teeth together and sent a stronger spell at him, a huge gust of fiery wind hurtling up only to come crashing down upon him like some huge wave.

But the fire never touched him.

This wasn't going well.

Caspan-

I ran towards the huge man, using my wings to give me extra speed that no human could have. I raised my dagger, intending to drive it into his chest.

Instead of hearing the sickening sound of metal sliding into flesh, the dagger was jarred from my hands as it hit something similar to a solid brick wall. I gasped and clutched my right hand to my chest, biting my lip as searing pain rushed up my arm.

Note to self: BAD IDEA!

I fell back to stand next to Ramere, looking around for another weapon while still clutching my throbbing hand to me tightly.

**Holy helk I missed a lot!!**

Arabella--

I tore off my glamour as I ran behind Ramere, allowing myself to show my true form. I even let my fangs out, for the sake of having an extra-extra weapon. I hoped Ramere didn't see them...

Ramere, combine your magic with mine! I exclaimed, using telepathy to get the message across. He looked at me curiously. Your magic is getting weaker. Combine it with mine!

Ramere nodded once and began to form a fireball in his hands as we ran. I did the same, pushing mine forward so it floated in front of us while growing in size and strength. Ramere pushed his into it, making the fireball even larger.

One....
......Two....
.........THREE!

On three we shot the fireball forward at the mage, hitting him in the back.

Knowing full well this would only be enough magic to delay the mage, I threw caution and worry to the wind, running forward at full speed and pouncing on the mage. He screamed as I bit into his neck.

OOC: I dont know if we're trying to kill him or stop him, so I'll leave how much damage Arabella does up to someone else.

Cara--

Cara clung to Christian as if for dear life. She didn't leave much space between them. But she was scared, she didn't like this place where she was surronded by mages with what seemed like no way out. They had locked Fire up just because he was a rare breed of wolf. That didn't help ease her fears any. She trusted Christian though so she didn't bolt, yet.

Ramere-

I stood motionless as Arabella ran forward, jumping onto the mage and sinking her...teeth?...into his neck. He screamed in pain and sank to his knees just as Arabella let go and dropped from his back, landing lightly on her feet.

The mage was weakened and injured, but not dead. I had no idea how he had come to be injured or weakened...

...

I blinked, conscious of the feel of my fangs against my tongue.

So Arabella was a vampire.

A searing pain in my arm shook me violently from my thoughts. I gasped and began to look down before forcing my eyes upward, blocking the pain from my mind as best I could. Distracting me was exactly what the mage wanted.

I threw my own fireball back at him, my spell weakened considerably because I was only able to use one arm, the other hanging limply at my side. It hit him on the side, but didn't do much damage.

But at least it did something. His shields were failing, which meant that any damage dealt would now have some effect.

"Don't be afraid," I whispered by Cara's ear. "I won't let them hurt you, or fire."

"What can you do?"

"I can fly."

Cara smiled, "I knew that." She smiled, "Whose he?" she asked nodding towards the mage.

I nuzzled her hair, "an old family friend, he'll reconize me."

"Christian!" he said as he got closer.

"Damian," I said in return. "Can you do us a huge favor?"

Cara--

Cara watched,

"What is that?" The mage asked,

"First, her wolf is locked somewhere in the tower. He is black with red, and wings." Christian said,

"Yes, I'll deal with that. What is the bigger problem?" THe mage asked.

Arabella--

The mage tasted sour, and it took everything I had to gulp down what blood i did. It was a good thing I was so hungry.

Sadly, it was not enough. He was weakened, but still alive enough to attack Ramere again. Growling, a shot a few strong bouts of magic at him, hitting him in the side and head. Added to the few spells Ramere was shooting, the mage weakly fell over. Not dead, but very much unconcious.
