Originally I wasn't planning on spending so much time on this, I had just imagined drawing a picture of a girl hiding around a corner with a gun, but I spent another couple of hours working on the background. Now that I look at it again, the lighting or coloring looks a little off or something. But I don't know. I feel like there's some mistakes here but I can't seem to pinpoint what x)
But I did enjoy drawing something scary again, I forgot how much fun it is to draw blood lol. Also, I used a bit of texture over the window to give it a grainy look, but besides that it's all drawn by me.
The bad news is we don't have any control. The good news is we can't make any mistakes. -Chuck Palahniuk
Very neat! I love the shading, especially on the skin. It gives it a kind of 'dirty' look, which fits excellently with the picture. I also like the shadows in the window, very eerie.
It might just be me, but something looks a little off about the arms. They look too...long? I'm not sure, 'cause I can't really tell where her torso ends or where her knees are. It just looks odd.
I'm not really a huge fan of manga as a style tbh, but this is really good! High five!
I am sooooooo behind on this digital art thing. I just got my pen fixed, and I reeeeally need to spend some time on it, but I have an exam on Monday and bleh. But sorry, this is your review >.>
Oh. My. Goodness. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You keep getting better and better and better. The background was a really good choice with this one, it fits so well and completes the picture. I love the shadow, and all the shading, and your proportions are wonderful.
I would agree with the above comment, though, that the upper left arm is too long. Her arms are long overall, which is fine, but the upper arm is just a little too much. Where the arm connects to the shoulder may be too thin. It usually isn't thinner than the actual arm.
This is just a little thing, but it feels like the back of her head/the side that is away from us is too small or shaped a little off.
I like her expression. This is ridiculous, how far you've come. The shading is ah-mazing, and her skin looks really good. The hands are really awesome, too, and I remember you used to have a lot of trouble with them.
Ah! I will catch up! (someday, maybe) Keep drawing. You have to. ~Dai
