Nai! I am disappointed in you! This may not be a serious thing, but being discriminatory towards someone because of their beliefs or something they said is wrong! Z may have said harsh things on the Self Mutilation thread(yes, I did read them), but, for him, they were well based and made sense! If you read that post, he was talking about certain people, not really all self-mutilators! He may not of meant to, but the examples he gave were of pathetic people, not of multiple, spread-out examples! And, even if they were, we shouldn't be hating him for them. Just because we disagree with someone doesn't mean that we can tear and rip them or their opinions apart! GOSH!!! THIS is why I don't like posting in our debate forum! People shut out other opinions without consideration and don't give them some respect. THEY AREN'T REALLY DEBATING!!!! They're arguing!!! Yes, there might be some people who try to carry on an actual debate, but I still usually see "You're completely wrong and are a closed-minded person who doesn't give things thought!" or something harsher when someone posts something like what Z said, or something else like "Gays are of the devil, and are not the way of God." GIVE OTHER OPINIONS, NO MATTER HOW RADICAL, SOME RESPECT!!!! People have reasons for the things they say! They might've grown up being taught those things, like some people in the KKK! Think more on why someone said something than what they said before you tear what they said apart!!! Also think about how what you'll say will effect that person! Now, I don't agree with Z, but I WILL stand by him because no one else will give his opinion the respect any opinion calls for!

I'm sorry for just blowing up on you guys, but I have been Freaking annoyed, agitated, and angry with how some people on here react to other people's opinions. Especially since I saw how everyone reacted so poorly and closed-mindly to ZZAP's post. Even Gal, who seems to be an advocator of free-speech! I am ashamed, people! ASHAMED!!! And annoyed enough to use the word "freaking!"

I don't hold anything against you, Nai. I still voted for you after reading that. It's just that comment sparked those powder kegs that were building up inside me. I would have liked this to happen on another thread, and because of someone else's comments.
