Is it cold out side with tons of snow on the mountain? Yes, so go skiing! Is skiing not your thing? Then check out our NEW! waterpark section of this large and in charge hotel! Are you tense and need some relaxation, then see our spa and candle store on the 4th floor. Are you hungry? Then come to the 2nd floor to check out all our fabulous restraunts and fast-food joints and bars.

I looked out of the window from the second floor of the huge hotel. One long, relaxing weekend was what I needed. Maybe I would meet someone here- Snap out of it, Isaura. I scolded myself. Remember that's the reason you came here in the first place. Not to mention that you came here ALONE. I sighed, there was no point in arguing with myself. I sipped my masala tea gingerly, pausing every now and then to cool my scalded tongue.

I get out of my car and look up at the tall water park/hotel. I'd never been here before. My eyes sweep across the 2nd floor, and my eyes catch a beautiful figure standing at her window. I catch her eye and smile. She smiles back before sipping something from a cup.

My eyes were wandering all over the place. "Man, this place is so huge." I kept thinking to myself. My gaze dropped down to the parking lot and I eyed a man who was just getting out of his car. I caught his gaze and saw him smile. I returned it and took another sip of my tea. I returned to my eye-wandering and day dreaming.

Walking slowly through a store on the 4th floor I try and zone out and ignore the arguing going on behind me.
“Well I want to go the water park!’ my little sister Brittany says impatiently and I try not to roll my eyes; that’s the 50th time she has said that.
“Yes of course Britt,” my mother tries, “but first let’s just have a look around here. I still have to find your aunt Christina a present. After all I did promise to get her something.”
I shake my head and then for no reason, other than wanting to get out of here I volunteer to take Brittany to the waterpark.
“Oh, okay,” my mother says and looks gratefully at me I shake my head and smile back at her.
“Just stay together okay?” I nod slowly and Brittany- who is practically bouncing up and down by now, Grins nods and attempts to drag me out the door.
“I will meet you on the second floor later for lunch.’ Then she continues to look through the store.
Before I can reply my nine year old sister- who is incredibly strong for her age- drags me out the door.
As soon as we are out of sight she lets go of my hand and takes of running in the general direction of the waterpark.
I’m left with nothing to do but sprint after her.

When I first walked inside, all I could do was stand and gape. The lobby of the hotel was enormous--there was a great open space in the middle, chairs lining the walls, a grand fireplace in one corner, and a ceiling that rose all the way to the top of the building. I shook my head, and kept walking. I could stare later, when there was no one to see me looking like an idiot.

Surprisingly, there were only two other people in the lobby--a man who had just come in, and a woman with a pretty smile, sitting at a table and sipping tea. I walked toward her table, figuring I should at least try to be social--

And then something slammed into me, knocking me to the ground. I sat up slowly, the room spinning. Sprawled on the ground next to me was a little girl, no more than ten, wearing a swimsuit. She must have ran into me.

I blinked when I saw a woman fall to the ground with a loud thud. Leaving my tea on the table with my lonely backpack, I stuck out a hand to the poor woman. "Are you alright?" I asked her as I grabbed her hand and pulled her up onto her feet.

"Are you alright?" the other woman asked, offering me her hand.

"I'm fine," I replied, grabbing her hand and pulling myself up. "Thanks. What happened, anyway? Did that little girl run into me? I wasn't looking."

I shrugged, not really noticing anything other than the woman falling. I dusted some dirt off of her right shoulder. "That was a nasty spill." I commented, "I'm Isaura by the way." I said warmly.

"Isabelle," I returned, shaking her hand. "That's a pretty name."

"Thank you." I said, laughing at the similarity of our names. I sat down at my table again and motioned for her to do the same. "So what brings you here?" I asked, finishing my tea.

I sat down at Isaura's table while she finished her tea. "I'm visiting from England," I explained. "For work-related stuff. But I have this week off, and I've heard great things about this place, so I thought I'd come for a little bit. And what brings you here?"

I looked at her for a moment, thinking about my reply before giving it. "I just needed one of those escape from reality things, you know? I'm off of work for a few days, so I thought I'd come here." I said.

I looked at the poor little girl who'd ran into the young women and went and helped her. She looked young, and like she shouldn't be alone in such a huge place. I see another girl runing from afar, calling her name. The little girl pouts and looks at her hands. The other girl catches up and takes the little girl from my hands. I smile and she smiles back. Man, I think to myself, there's a lot of pretty women here. I picked a good time.

"I'll be back." I said, my tea finished. "I'm going to go get some more tea." The bar wasn't that far away, so I left my small bag at the table. Once I go a refill of my favorite masala tea, I held it close to my nose, inhaling the sweet and spicy scent, not really paying attention to the path I took back to the table. I bumped into someone and dropped the cup of tea. The hot liquid spilled on my shirt and on the others' pant legs and shoes. I looked up and stuttered an apology, subconsciously noting that it was the man from the parking lot. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't looking." I shamefully looked at the spilled contents of the cup and felt the tips of my ears turn hot with embarrassment.
