I was trying to figure out what a storybook was, until I realized it was just Roleplaying.
Which is awesome because I haven't roleplayed in forever.
So, hopefully I remember at least enough to get one started.

PLOT

You and five others set out on a race around the world. A sailboat race, to be precise.
Since the sailboats require at least six people to man, and none of you had anyone willing to accompany you, you have all been thrown together without any previous interaction. Get to know your boatmates well, though, you'll soon be relying on eachother to survive.
Halfway into the race -- you had just passed Fiji, when a storm came in from the north.
The other sailboats were far behind you -- you were in the lead, of course!
But as they say, first is worst, second is best, third is the one in the polka-dot dress.
The storm knocked you off course, but before long you spotted an island, and you all worked together to veer towards it. But upon entering, you collided with a jumble of rocks, and your boat, named The Stetson, was smashed to pieces.

But just as the sun rose the morning after, shining onto the sand you lie on, you rose as well, with nothing but confusion and worry.
This island isn't on your map, and it appears to be uninhabited by any human, besides you, and the four survivors. Unfortunately, Sally, the eager young lady, drowned the night before.
What mysteries lay underneath the island's sandy surface? How will you return home, if you even can?
But most of all,
How will you survive?

RULES

- You must read all rules.
- Romance is, very tentatively, allowed. But please, for the sake of my sanity, keep it to a minimum. This is mostly a survival/actiony/character-developementy Rolepl- I mean, Storybook.
- PG-14 is a nice limit. Cursing allowed, but only for dramatic purposes. Keep it to a strict and classy minimum.
- Graphicness, ehh, don't go all SAW on us, but graphicness is A-OK.
- Only four people, not including myself, may join. Spots might open later on, as I have a little plot in mind regarding the island's, heh, "hidden" inhabitants.
- I must approve your character before you join.
- Normal stuff, no Mary/Marty Sues, no godmodding or powerplay, and keep it lit.
- If you want to leave the storybook, please inform us beforehand, and we'll kill your character off or something. If you won't be on for a while, just make them go missing, or give others permission to play them on your behalf.
- If you read all the rules, leave the phrase "Fender bender" somewhere in your post.

(My character)

Name: Marley Finch McGhee
Age: Twenty-four
Gender: Male
Appearance: Image
Personality Blurb: Since he has quite a calm and collected vibe about him, Marley, or as he prefers to be called, McGhee, often appears to have all the answers. But in reality, he hardly ever knows what he's doing. Perhaps it's his unwillingness to follow, or even be aware of, rules, or perhaps it's just that he doesn't know quite as much as he thinks. But McGhee is not a man you should place your trust in -- though much too often, trust is placed despite. He has a nice sense of humour, one of his few good qualities, and he knows how to entertain. He has a tendancy to underthink, and he'd save himself over you any day.
Bio: Born and raised in the Netherlands, Dordrecht, to be specific, McGhee found himself a loner most of the time. He made friends easily enough, his sharp wit and clever antics attracted many, but he lost them quickly once the charm wore off. But, being a bit of an introvert, he wasn't really bothered by this. He turned to other things to keep himself entertained, most of all, sailing.
His father was a sailor, before he fell into a coma around the time McGhee was six, and McGhee would take his boat out whenever he had the time. When he was twenty-three, he signed up for a Race Around the World, and spent the following year training before being thrown together with five other contestants, and setting off.
Other: Says he's a vegitarian to impress people, but in reality, he eats so much meat it's not even funny.

If you don't know it's impossible it's easier to do. And because nobody's done it before, they haven't made up rules to stop anyone doing that again, yet.
