Yup, I thought I'd take my hair fetish to a new level and add in some sparkles.

Basically all I did was use a paint splatter brush on Gimp, and by setting a layer to overlay I drew it on over the picture. It took a bit of tweaking to get the effects in the right spots, to blur out the areas that looked to bright, but it was pretty fun to do.

here's the picture before I added the effects

I'm so happy I came up with this idea, lol xD

Very nice! I love the eyes especially, it's like she's wearing the world's longest false lashes, lol, very dark and sooty. I think I like it before the sparkle/splatter best, but it's nice with as well.

Her neck looks kind of fat, though. Not at a first glance, but when I looked at it again, it seemed wrong. It's either too fat or her head is at a wrong angle. The main problem is her chest and the angle of her cleavage. It's kind of difficult to explain, but the curve of her right breast sticks out too far. Her cleavage (and... cleft, I guess you'd say?) goes like a C (kind of), curving to her left but her right breast goes too far out in the opposite direction. I think. It's really hard to explain, but it doesn't look right.

Oh, you and your amazing work that makes me want to get off my lazy butt and try to improve mine...

*sigh* My tablet pen broke, and I have to call Tech Support...

Anyways, I think Twit covered the body issues. The thing that bothered me the most was how far her breast stuck out. Everything else is so proportional and natural, that it makes it even more obvious.

I don't think the neck is fat, I think her hair in the back is just fluffy, although it seems her head might be sitting on her neck a little strangely. It might be to far to the left, or something.

I actually love the effect that splatters had on the clothes more than anything else. It's just plain awesome. I'm not sure what it does, but it looks ah-mazing.

I've seen you improve your art, and it's such an incredible thing to watch. You keep getting better and better and better. I always love seeing your work. Keep it up.

I really love it! the whole thing! The girls so pretty! Um yeah..the eyes don't look so proportionate I think the rest is already covered by Suki and Twit but anyways just love your work! You could also put some texture or fold or something on the plum top to make it more cloth like? and the again her eyebrows..do something about them as i cannot really place it but the look odd (somehow).

I like both of the pictures though. the first one at the top just looks a bit wet and old- the paper i mean and it is a cool effect. And i just love her hair!, lol, want them.... her neck and all is alright i think and you could have brought more of her hair on the left side to make her face look okay? and you could have highlighted her collar bones and she would look gorgeous! Keep drawing!
