My friend told me this morning about this contest. Grand prize in each High School category is $5,000 dollars along with travel and lodging to the Colony’s National Award Ceremony in New York City. High Schoolers are limited to the Fiction category but college students submit in three different categories. Here's the link for more info or if you want to submit.http://www.ncte.org/awards/student/nmwa

I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's

Here's what I got from the organizers
"Students must be enrolled in schools accredited by the U.S. to participate in the award."
