Eep, jumped straight into the chatbox on my first day here, then kind of slipped off for studying... so here's a proper introduction.

Hey! Jinxineta here - Jinx, if you prefer. Not my real name, of course, though I'd love to have that, but that's what nearly everyone who knows me calls me in real life anyway... for a good reason.

I'm 18, from Hong Kong, and have been writing for a while, but ever since the advent of my exams I've stopped for a while. I've still a couple of ideas bubbling away in my head, and I'm looking for people to chat with, bounce ideas off and for advice and feedback, so here I am!

I write all sorts - from short stories to poetry to my occasional foray into fanfiction and recently, attempting to complete a full-length novel and a visual novel. I don't stick to a particular genre, but lately it's been mostly modern mixed with time travel and a little fantasy. My other interests include floorplans, teddy bears and cooking.

Alright, I'll stop my rambling here now and go back to exploring and lurking on the forums :D

Greetings! Welcome to the factory. I shake you warmly by the hand. ^__^

If you have any questions, you can PM me or anyone else in green. Light green names are Junior Moderators, Dark Green are Global Mods, and Reds are Admins. So we're, like, totally cool and all.

Also PM me if you need a review on any of your work! I keep on reading it as "time travel with teddy bears" which sounds really froody. ^^

See you around!

Hey Jinx! Welcome to the YWS forums!

You live in Hong Kong? Are you a native English speaker, or did you learn it? You speak it well.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or leave a message on my wall. :)

Enjoy your stay!
I don't always write on forums, but when I do, I prefer YWS.

Sharpen your pencil, my friends.

@Twit: Thank you for the welcome! I'll be sure to do that once I get around to writing. And time travel with teddy bears sounds like an idea that needs to be tried out - somewhere, sometime, who knows?

@Pilot: Aha, you flatter me.Yes, I live in Hong Kong, and no, I'm not a native speaker. However, I was lucky enough to have an environment that let me practice my English frequently. Unfortunately, this came at the cost of my Chinese, as my grades can testify, but I'm hoping to rectify that once I have a chance.

Well, hello there Jinx!

Another ESL speaker, eh? I'm one myself. Welcome to this wonderful world of writers!

I agree, exams can totally take your time off writing. But I find that that is the time, I get a whole lot of plot bunnies bouncing in my head.
So, what are you studying?

See you around soon!
