Well then, I suppose I should probably make my first post here, the nature of introductions being what they are. Anyways, more to the point, it looks like concision is appreciated in introductions, so:
I'm 16, I've been writing since I was twelve, I like to write very long episodic fantasy works where I generally get highly attached to my characters (if I don't care about their personalities and plights, then who will?)
I am currently the Op-Ed editor of my school newspaper and have established myself as a muckraking cynic with a scathing sense of humor.
As far as personal taste and hobbies are concerned: I listen to metal (mostly folk-metal, and yes, that sub-genre actually exists). I am currently endeavoring to learn how to speak Finnish, because I find it a fascinating language and culture (look up a book called The Kalevala). Unfortunately my linguistic pursuits are fruitless avail as there are no good programs for it, and no schools that I know of teach it.
Furthermore, I'm living in California with the intention of becoming a fantasy author and English teacher.
Come to think of it... I always have been horrible when it comes to concision...
