Torimisu Contest Prize Chibi

I drew a chibi or one of Torimisu's (on deviantART) OC's because she won a contest there.

For those of you who do not know what a chibi is, it's a Japanese way of drawing a little, smaller and cuter version of a manga or anime character, or even people in real life. So they tend to be short, cute and stubby, and, depending on the style, have big heads.

So I did everything with the tablet for the first time, no scanner used.



So, what do you think?

This is so cute! I just love the way you drew the hair, it's really colorful and glossy. And I also love the color combination in the outfit with the yellow and purple ^_^ I know you didn't come up with the design, but the wings and tail are super cute too!

I think the jaw is too square. This might be based off a style that doesn't have much chin, but still it looks blocky. I'd find ways to round it out more.

Last critique is about the feet, or lack thereof. I'm not sure what style you are doing here, but to me it looks like both her legs got amputated and she is left with two stumps x) I don't know, I might be the only one that thinks like that, but you might want to try a different way of drawing the legs and feet, perhaps add a cute pair of shoes or something.

Really cute picture overall! I think the use of colors is awesome, and it's really impressive considering you've only had your tablet for a few months!

Yeah, I see where you are coming from. Most of it is style, but then I guess I should change my style.
