Dark Fey

This is a storybook based off of the Wicked Lovely Series by Melissa Marr.

You were born with the ability to see Faeries or fey. You can not let them know that you see them or you will be blinded by them killed or worse. You follow rules and warnings. Faeries walk among us with out us knowing except for the people who know about their world and can see them. Faeries can don human faces like a halloween costume (when they do its called glamour) and are so much stronger then we know. Faeries can be beautiful horrifying ugly or gorgeous. Faeries also have powers that people can only dream of . By human powers you can read minds or things like that. Fey are divided into courts. I mean the summer winter and dark court all fey will have to pick a side.
The idea is that all the courts need a ruler and court members. Summer, Dark, and Winter all need leaders. Summer and Dark need Queens and Winter needs a king. The Summer and Dark Queens and Winter King will be human along with several other people who have the Sight.

Nia has dark, tanned skin and thick, curly black hair. Her eyes are dark and big and she has soft features. She likes to wear warm, pastel colors with her favorite frayed jean jacket.

Hobbies: She used to enjoy water sports, but now mostly stays away from the water, due to the Water Court being there. Nia always liked gardening, tennis, and running.

Likes: Outdoors, summer (obviously), heat, tennis, plants, competition, and parties.

Hates: Winter, cold, rules, stress, work, bullies, and being wrong.

Personality: Before she became the Summer Queen, Nia always loved to party and have fun. She'd fail most of her classes because she just shrugs off work and never takes anything seriously. She's always smiling and cracking jokes, even if they're no good, and is usually honest. Nia looks at life as a great big game, and she lives every day like it's her last. She loves to try new things and is very competitive, which can sometimes drive her to say nasty things which she refuses to take back. Instead, she'll just send a gift or note apologizing, as she's awful at saying 'sorry' face-to-face with someone. She hates being wrong.

History: Nia has been Summer Queen for just over a hundred years. All of her immediate family has died out and she is not in touch with anyone related to her. All she has is her court and she's fine with that.

Nia's parents were always very understanding of her, and she loved them, understood, and respected them, too. But her parents didn't love each other and split up when Nia was 14. It was a hard year for her, and although she was pretty popular in school, she was failing in most of her classes and nobody knew why, as it was the late 1800s.
Her father left her mother and Nia stayed with her mother, as her father didn't think he could support both of them.
Soon, Nia's mother met a man named Robert and they fell in love and got married only 2 years after Nia's father had left. Nia was spiteful about the whole situation (her father leaving her and her mother, and then her mother so quickly replacing her father) and turned her back on her family and school. She took happiness and glee in her friends and the parties they'd host (as her step-father was very rich and tried to win Nia's approval of him by giving her an almost free-reign on the household income).
After a few months, she saw a new boy at one of the parties. He was gorgeous and she liked him. Turns out, he was the Summer King. He had her go through the test to see if she'd be able to be his Queen and she passed. Nia was ecstatic at this and dropped her hatred of her mother and step-father right away so they could marry her and her King. Her mother was a bit skeptical of the situation, but Robert, still wanting to gain her acceptance, was all for it and Nia and the Summer King were married the human way, before moving in together and wholly forgetting Nia's parents and human way of life.

Talents: She's very outgoing and her smile is quite alluring to most mortal men. She's pretty talented at tennis, and throwing parties (of course), as she's been doing it for years.

Powers: She can shoot pure sunlight out of her hands and can control most plants, being the Summer Queen. Besides that, she had very good sight as a human, and being a faery heightened that. She can see very far and very clearly.

Name: Folley Senri (Mortal)
Age: (16-19) 17
Appearance:

Hobbies: Origami, cooking, reading.
Likes: Folley likes anything magical, and that's why she's excited that she has Sight. She likes peace and silence, and enjoys watching nature.
Hates: Folley especially hates too much noise. Besides that, she hates socializing and partying, and using computers.
Personality: Folley's a very quiet girl, and usually stays in her room, or in the garden or park. She's very judgemental, and tends to get annoyed very easily. This usually makes her look vain and proud and people try not to get into conversations with her. When she can, she gives very useful advice to her friends. She avoids roaming around in large groups with other people, and prefers walking alone. She likes being independent. She doesn't show signs of excitement on the outside, but she's usually bursting with it on the inside.
Medical issues: Grapheme-colour Synesthesia
Love Interest: Heterosexual.
History: Folley had a fairly normal childhood, except for her synesthesia which made it difficult for other children to understand her and she was classified as "different". This is why she usually stays away from large groups and is mostly quiet. Her childhood friend was the only one who knew about her synesthesia but she had to move away, and didn't confide in anyone again.
Talents: Because of synesthesia, she's an exceptional artist, but that's all.
Powers (fey or human): She has the ability to read minds, and also to hear the slightest sounds from miles away.

No they're full sized people but supernaturally beautiful even with glamours.

Name: Epsilon (Prince of the Winter Court)
Age: (16-19): 17
Appearance: Epsilon looks very effeminate with slight, pointed features, pale, porcelain-esque skin and a very fragile demeanor. He has shoulder length white blonde hair and intelligent blue eyes. He dresses in a simple white turtle neck, white slacks and formal white dress shoes giving off a very surreal but pleasant aura. He holds himself modestly but confidently and moves extremely gracefully with agility equal to that of a dancer.

Hobbies: Playing the piano (he has a large white grand piano that he spends hours playing,) wandering, and people-watching. (He has a huge fascination with humans.)
Likes: Children, animals, chocolate and Vespas.
Hates: Excessive violence, ignorance, and war.

Personality: Epsilon is a very strong pacifist and will uphold his beliefs against war regardless of the consequences. He is also extremely honest and dedicates himself to truth, though because he is a realist, many people do not appreciate this. He is soft-spoken but has a very pleasant demeanor. He is, in a way, calculating as many things he does adheres to the "ends justify the means" logic. Surprisingly he holds justice over mercy and does not pity those in the wrong, though he is willing to give people chances. He is an incredible public speaker given his very positive charisma and many could see him inheriting his father's throne.

Medical issues: Does he have to have one? If he must, he has the Stendhal Syndrome, a psychosomatic illness that causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness, confusion and even hallucinations when an individual is exposed to art, usually when the art is particularly ‘beautiful’ or a large amount of art is in a single place.

Love Interest: He loves everyone, in theory, but romantically he's most interested in the female gender though he's not sure if there as equally interested in him as he in *quite* in touch with his feminine side.

History: Due to his amiable, intelligent and peaceable demeanor, Epsilon acts as a negotiator and a "third party" dealer in almost every dealing between the kingdoms. He can easily pass through realms unquestioned and assists with trade relations, law enforcement and many other issues the ruling councils deal with in relation to each other. He was raised in close contact with the humans and respects them, though considers them a lower species.

Talents: Speech, debate, negotiation, and public relations.
Powers (fey or human): Fey, and he can tap into the vital signs of almost every creature which allows him access to their emotions, their health, their thoughts, their feelings, and predict their actions and intentions.

Name: Kiran (Prince of the Summer Court)
Age: (16-19): 17
Appearance: Kiran has a very aggressive demeanor given his harshly chiseled featured. He holds himself very proudly and, given his sturdy, 6 ft. stature, he is very imposing. He has dark green eyes and bright red hair. He dresses elegantly, regally, and rather expensively. He is extremely flashy and looks extremely alive and energetic.

Hobbies: Military history, shopping, and engineering.
Likes: Chess, arguing, and knowledge.
Hates: Ignorance, weakness, and doubt.

Personality: Kiran is extremely strong-willed a an extremely brilliant strategist. He is calculating and cold and extremely willing to turn situations to his advantage. He is very cynical and sardonic and enjoys finding flaws in other people and using them against them. He does not like to actually like to fight physically, but prefers to deal in the shadows with information, negotiation and manipulation. Outwardly, he seems like an prideful, arrogant prince who acts like he knows more than he really does, but in actuality every move he makes is brilliantly preplanned in an effort to achieve many different things, usually self-serving.

Medical issues: He has multiple personality disorder, probably self-induced due to the constant lying about true intentions and the need to uphold an externally regal image but wanting to maintain his original personality internally.

Love Interest: Sure why not, and he's interested in woman. Though be careful, if he shows any interest he could just be using you.

History: He was born as the second to the crown, his eldest brother now on the throne. He does have the jealousy complex as well as the thirst for power over all kingdoms. He is currently planning a coup to overthrow the current Summer royal family and take over quietly with some of his associates located in the Dark and Winter kingdoms, giving him access to those realms as well. It is not clear on when he will move, but he is hoping to take power before the current king produces an heir.

Talents: Manipulation and strategy, as well as follow through.
Powers (fey or human): Fey, and he can influence large amounts of people by speaking to them, his voice leads them to trust and rely on his word as truth.
