The New Infinity (open/ not started)

In honor of the recent DC reboot I thought too myself well new heroes should be created new heroes for a new age of comics. So be as creative as you like be the great defender of Gotham, or if a shining metropolis is more your thing Metropolis.
Be as mad as the Joker or as patriotic as Superman. It's the new Infinity, because there are more than 52 parallel universes, So be you Legion of Doom or Justice league, as in hero or villain choose as you will.

The Justice League is constantly attempting to foil the League of Doom, but that doesn't mean they always succeed. Aside from that it seems as though there's a larger threat looming from the new gods. Powerful immortal beings from the planets New Genesis and Apokolips. Ruled respectively by the Over Father of New Genesis and Darkseid of Apokolips.

Appearance: (Both when in costume and when just in your secret identity) Where's a long black trench coat over a white shirt or a long white trench coat over a black shirt and tight blue jeans, his mask is just a plan black mask with eye holes that covers his entire face. When not being a super hero he is a mild mannered high school student. He normally dresses in bright or occasionally dark colors around people to throw of what he may look like as his persona Renegade. He has long brown hair but when using his powers it becomes pitch black or a stunning white. His eyes are normally hazel green but become just white or solid black when using his powers.

Super Power/ Ability: (what's your super power? Or are you just an above average human? Or perhaps a playboy billionaire turned vigilante hero, you decide and please describe.) He can control light and darkness originally assumed to be some new variety on the Green Lantern powers he quickly showed that he was something different. He can use the shadows or light to create illusions as well as cause harm. His illusions though look and feel like the real thing. He also has some of the qualities of light specifically super speed and he can travel through darkness to enter locked rooms.

Personality: (Pretty much explains itself what's your character like.)Martin's powers affect much of his personality he's a very bright and sunny person but he also has to accept the darkness in him. He often questions why he has the powers but still fights for what is right in his mind. Martin is also very personable and tries to be the life of the party he feels as though this was all thrust upon him and wishes to keep his childhood as long as possible.

So maybe you'll create your history as you go, it's the writer's choice.)Martin's powers weren't really a purposeful thing his parents were scientist, and while Martin wished to be an author he studied some science that interested him as well the nature of light and the lack there of. One night, while experimenting with a new formula he had created for creating a liquid that naturally created light on what ever it touched and another that created shadows, he was struck by a bolt of lightning after spilling the liquids on himself. The chemicals sunk in to his skin after being hyper charged by the lightning. He woke up to find not only did he no longer need the glasses he once wore he could now even see more colors than he could before. He began to experiment with his new powers and decided that he knew what he must do. Become a super hero.

Other: (Whatever you feel fits nowhere else put here.) He may be new but he has quickly grasped his skills. His parents are still rather supportive of him and are fascinated by his new powers. According to their calculations it was one in a billion situation and he often thanks God for his luck.

Name: Cypher Eisenstein aka the Crimson Harlequin

Alliance: Solo Villain

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Appearance: 6ft3, shaggy blonde surfer hair, deep blue eyes and a devilish smirk. He wears bright red converse, old blue jeans, t-shirt usually with animal from the muppets on it and a red and black wristband on his right wrist.
Harlequin wears a black trilby and a half red, half blue masquerade mask showing a predatory smile. A crimson shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a black waistcoat over the top. Suit trousers and oddly black workmens boots complete the ensemble.

Super Power/ Ability: He is a hunter. Faster, stronger and with more keen senses than any human to an incredible degree.

Personality: He is bipolar to the point of virtually schizophrenic but he hides it well. Cypher is confident and charismatic. A bit of a bad boy ladies man. But in his head he is paranoid. As a teen he befriended his rivals and use the information he gained to covertly ruin them.
The harlequin is mush the same except with all societies rules and a human conscience switched off. One moment he will flip and coin and let you live. The next you'll return home to find it destroyed and your puppies entrails spread around like confetti.

History: After a pretty normal childhood Cypher found himself going through many bad relationships as an awkward gangly teen. He found himself being bullied. Eventually he grew into his lanky frame and those same people who had picked on him or broken his heart ended up joining his circle of friends. Except that wasn't enough. Polite to their face in his mind he planned deep dark vengence. Covertly ruining their lives. At 18 one of them discovered he was responsible for their fall from popularity. The boy confronted Cypher one day while he was making food. In a accident of blind rage Cypher killed him. Stabbed him clean through the heart, spraying half of his face with blood. He looked into the mirror at this monstrous visage and his mind snapped. Fracturing into Cypher and the Crimson Harlequin.
A corrupt policeman offered to make the case disappear if Cypher "acquired" a serum for him from a research lab. Cypher, a frightened teen, took the job. He broke into the lab but was interrupted by a scientist working late. Desperate to escape, Cypher injected the serum into himself and collapsed.
Believing him to be dead he was buried, the policeman covered it all up and that was the end as far as he was concerned.
But Cypher didn't die. His body changed internally. Made him into a more predatory form of human being. He returned to his home and joined a friends band. The policeman never pursued him for fear of being exposed.
The band named The One Eyes Royals rose to fame due to the incredible speed with which their bassist (Cypher) could play. After two years they disbanded due to creative differences.
Cypher lives off the money from the old band, living the life of a famous rock star playboy. At night however, the Crimson Harlequin rises to the fore, spreading mayhem, destruction and chaos for its own sick amusement.

Other: His weapons of choice are knives and explosives.

Name: Citius / Elizabeth Eggles

Alliance: Solo Hero

Gender: Female.

Age: 17

Appearance: Costume - dressed in all black, combat boots, jacket, gloves, mask that only covers her eyes and nose. A small golden crest on the front pocket of her jacket.
Normal - Usually seen in white skinny jeans, a yellow or light blue t-shirt, and a grey version of her black jacket. Her combat boots are a must have. Also always has a golden necklace with a charm in the shape of the letter C.

Super Power/ Ability: Citius is Latin for speed, so super speed.

Personality: Always says what's on her mind, is usually a happy-go-lucky person unless you bring up anything involving dogs (had a bad experience, doesn't talk about it), makes friends easy and sees the good in people, always get what she wants one way or another.

History: Was sent to Vermont's School of Greats when she was thirteen but never made it there, stuck in the middle of a fight between a famous hero and infamous villain - famous and infamous to everyone else. she couldn't remember their names. In the heat of the battle, she ended up exposing her power to the crowd gathered by bolting from a thrown man hole cover at unimaginable speed. After the incident, she tried to go back home instead, only to find that her family had disappeared, leaving only but a note behind for her. In the note they explained their leaving and what Elizabeth was destined to do. At age fourteen, she defeated her first villain - a big time bank robber. From there, she began to aim for the bigger and bigger jobs, coming across few heroes along the way.

Other: She is dead set on making her parents proud, even if they are no longer able to watch over her.

Name: Damia/ Real name: Melanie Colon

Appearance: (Both when in costume and when just in your secret identity): When In Secret identity she has a white mask, that covers only her eyes. she Has a tight top, that shows half of her stomach, with long sleeves, and long black pants with white boots. This is what she looks like in school:

Or perhaps a playboy billionaire turned vigilante hero, you decide and please describe.) she can cause pain by stare and she has super speed and has mad fighting skills. She is just a regular school girl outside of crimes.

Personality: (Pretty much explains itself what's your character like.): She is really pretty, she can be nice and could pity you when in Secret Identity. She is playful. In school: she is a cheerleader and loves to play around but shes never a good girl. She is more like a bad girl/rebel.

History: (Okay a lot of storybooks will say details, details, and more details. Well your character could start at any point in their hero career. So maybe you'll create your history as you go, it's the writer's choice.): She was born with her powers, her parents abandoned her, when she became depressed she started doing bad things. When she Turned 14 she became Damia. Everyone in school admires her but knowone knows her identity. She might seem very popular but inside shes very heard hearted. When she turned 16 she decided to rebel. She abandoned her siblings and went to live by herslef in the forest. there, she learned how to run faster, become stronger, and prctice tricks. When the school year started,s he decided to join. And thats mostly it!

Well each character reacts as they please no ones location is definitely locked. Great question and if you want our characters to attend the same school sounds good.
