Plot: Midir and Saoirse are at war, declared by the tribal warrior clans of Saoirse against Midir. Midir, unsure of why the neighbouring kingdom has declared this, sent an army to the border led by their prince to attempt peace negotiations. They failed and the armies of Midir and Saoirse clashed, taking heaving losses on both sides before the Midiran prince finally called for a retreat. In the middle of the night, he vanished. Midir accused Saoirse, who refused to take the blame. Neither kingdom had any idea of the prince’s new whereabouts, since he was neither a hostage or with the Midiran army.
Meanwhile, deep in the Saoirse Woods, more commonly known as Lalen Forest, the Midiran Prince is awakened by a thief that stumbled upon him. Lost and confused, the pair spent a long minute staring at each other before realising it was the enemy. A long, awkward moment ensued before they both realised that the hostility they showed each other wasn’t needed. Unbeknownst to the pair, the Midiran prince had been sent somewhere by the Queen of Saoirse --to a place unknown to her. It was also a secret she kept from her people.
With chaos erupting in both the Midiran palace and the Saoirite palace, and drastic measures taken in trying to find the Midirian prince, small things have started to go unnoticed--like the way the common people are reacting and the radical defensive plans put into motion by Saoirse to protect their borders--and slowly, there’s rumour of a possible uprising spreading. Revolution is whispered in the shadows and mentions of bloodshed and violence dance from dark doorways to ever darker alleyways, and then there’s the rumour of a curse--a curse on the royal family of Midir, the Van Alstynes, and more importantly, on the prince himself.
And it all starts with the words of a woman echoing in his ears; “You know what they say; kill one to warn a hundred. Make it count to warn a thousand.”

Races/People:
Spoiler
There are very few races other than human in Midir and Saoirse, and those include Sorcerers or Sorceresses and perhaps a god or goddess. The majority of Midirans and Saoirites are human and have little to no magical powers, if any.
-Gods/Goddesses: Gods & Goddesses are beings of immense power, pretty much immortal and ageless--it's impossible to tell exactly how old they are. They are bound by unnatural laws to do nothing more than watch and record as their creations destroy each other. No one knows what the look like as they always appear cloaked in whatever colour represents them; Tsila’s colour being red, in any shade.
-Sorcerers And Sorceresses: Sorcerers are an interesting sub-race of humans. These are humans born with magic and rarely have any of the aspects of any other race in Midir and Saoirse. They are strictly human and even if they chose to reproduce with any other race, their children will be born with magic. They may have trace characteristics of the other races, but every time they will be born with Sorcerer magic, which is anything from transformation (not to be confused with shape-shifting) to telekinesis. They also can live up to three centuries, sometimes more and are taught from an early age to harness their magic, lest they loose control of it.
-Dragons:Dragons are giant winged creatures with tough scales covering their hides. They can breathe fire, water, lightning, or any one of the other elements, including spirit. Dragons are dangerous creatures. They thrive on death and destruction, and on chaos--but only when enraged. A calm dragon is wild and dangerous, yet kind, thriving on peace and life, and on order. It's rare for one to be semi-tamed, and even rarer for someone from any race to form a bond with one and ride it, though it has happened before. Once or twice.
Dragons are purely wild spirits, almost untamable, but they do possess great Wisdom and Intelligence. As an ally, they are a formidable force.
-Humans: Humans can be found throughout Saoirse, Midir and the surrounding kingdoms and have little to no magic. Any magic they do have is limited and uncontrolled. Humans make wonderful soldiers, though.
