As school has just broken up and I have a lot of free time on my hands now, I decided to take some photographs. I also decided to base them on the idea of "hope in the midst of a barren season" - in a way, just what Christmas and New Year are in the middle of winter. Anyway, I hope you like them. :smt001

Wow, you are an amazing photographer! You can tell that you have a passion for your work. It was absolutely amazing to see someone so young, well as old as I am, with such an amazing skill. Now I have to ask, is this just a hobby or do you plan on letting this gift take you somewhere? God knows that I would pay big bucks to let you photograph an important event in my life. I believe that with a talent like that that you can go anywhere you set your mind to. I hope that you do something even more amazing with this talent, don't let it go to waste now!

I have to say, you have an incredible talent for photography! The lighting is fabulous but in the third picture, the kitten's fur seemed a little too sharp and I think it would look a little more dramatic if it was in black and white. My favorite picture was second picture. The angle from which it was taken creates shadows behind the heart and piano keys, and to me, makes it look even more lovely. And the first picture is beautiful too but I suggest you change the font- it looks a little too plain.

But nonetheless, these photos were brilliant and I hope you continue taking even more pictures and improving your skill (even though it's already amazing. C; ) Keep at it!

Wow Mist! Great photos!

I think this is a very astounding work of yours. There is emotion, highlights, perspective changes and dynamo in each photograph.

The first one is a very ad-like. I like how you cut some parts of the star and put in your quote. This doesn't only add extra effect but also adds the overall appeal of the star. The Heart-shaped...thing on the top of the piano keys really touched me. The background of piano keys brought out a small song onto my mind and the engravings on the heart interested me as much! The kitty snap tends to bring out the natural look which definitely complemented Christmas.

I also like the contrast of images. It wasn't realistic but it seems very natural. Awkwardly wonderful.

You're there, dear. Just a little fixing in the album and you'll do greatly!

Still loving your photos,
Al ;)

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
