I absolutely love shading, and I must say you did an incredible job on it. Your attention to detail in the bear was phenomenal and the hair on the man was very well done. It's hard to draw hair because of the way you have to make it look casual as if it were just sitting there around the person's face, and many people struggle to make it look so relaxed, but you really hit it on the head. Keep drawing!

Holy crap! I love the bear. it's hecka cook and the person hase great lines. I'm not the best artist in the world in fact I kinda suck. I really like manga and cartoony stuff but I really admire people who can draw things realistically. I think that this is really just amazing. Keep it up.

When I saw the man, I was like whoa. When I saw the bear, I was like OH MY GOD THAT IS SO GOOD!! Your shading is excellent and it really brings out the characteristics of the bear like the texture of the fur. You should be really proud of that.

I loved the man and i thought the bear cant beat it.... and them whoa its amazing!!! its not too detailed, but its just enough... you know what i mean... especially with the bears shaggy coat. And the man reminds me of someone but i cant place my finger on it yet... its amazing

Your works look pretty good if yo ask me. I like the way the images were shaded and outlined. The bear is quite realistic, maybe because of the shabby fur. The human is too, but I'm not that fond of his over-all look.
What intrigued me most is the partnership of your works. It took me a while to think, but it seems to me that it was a transformation. From a subtle man to a wild bear. Or maybe a it was a werebear. Whatever is the reason of the drawings' togetherness, it exuded some type of story which made it more interesting and more fitting to this site.

These two sketches are brilliant! I like to view sketches like these because of the strokes and the shadings. But what's so great about these pictures here is that they've been well executed and properly defined. So I can gladly say that you've done a fine job in the interpretation of your references.
The first picture shows us a young man, handsome and with really nice hair to boot. I'm going to be a little picky now, since this picture looks like it was really difficult to nail. There were some areas where the smudging in the hair didn't really work out well. Especially at the centre of the hair. they look more like random strokes and scribbles than actual wavy curves that finely show the direction of each strand. Some parts of the hair were alright. But there still needed to be a little more definition and attention to detail in the hair department. Also, the eyes are beautiful. The pupils look amazing and they really look deep into my soul. Maybe some addition of eyelashes and a little wrinkle here and there could bring out the eyes even more since the beauty is quite hidden and bland here. So a little more detail in the surrounding area of each eye would do well. The sharp face and the rest of the features work really well together so no complaints there
The second, the scary bear is simply awesome. There's a lot of detail on the face and you've managed to bring about that fierce attitude of the bear nicely. Again, the eyes on this big guy are simply gorgeous. The only one nit-pic with this would be that the bottom row of teeth can't really be well recognized. They blend in with the other features of the mouth. So a little more sharpness and lining to the teeth would have created a nice set of pearly whites. This is a great sketch nevertheless. They both are amazing pieces of work!
I see great drawings like this and I'm instantly inspired to pick up a pencil and draw as well, even though I have absolutely no drawing talent whatsoever. But it's nice to come across someone who is passionate about sketching and is making great pieces such as these. So keep on drawing. You're very good at it
