Temple of Dragons

In the forests of Astora lies a great temple, ravaged by brigades of violent kingdoms, taking advantage of the now deceased monks' hospitality. You are warriors, from the long standing kingdom that took the most part in destroying the temple.

But now the kingdom is under attack. Strange creatures from the North have been attacking small villages, but they are moving south, to the capital of the kingdom.

7 elite warriors were sent out on a mission to investigate possibility that these creautures came from the ruins of the temple; the primary worshipping place of dracons. Dracons are similar to Dragons, but are much more deadly. Unlike the Dracons, Dragons live much farther to the south, and are considerably smaller.

When the warriors set off, a band of thieves and assasins set after them; hoping for the Kingdom officials to follow their regulation maps, leading them, and their hopeful trackers, to treasure.

So basically, you- one of the bandits or the Randar(Kingdom officials)- Have to rediscover the elusive Temple of Dragons. You may even face one at some point (hehe).

History: Drake was born an orphan and taken in by an old women living in a small house in the woods. The day he turned 13 he was informed of his true story. His mother had died 2 days after his birth and his father was forced to leave to fight in battle. Drake is determined to find his father one day, though he is most likely to be dead. he will do anything to see his face again

Personality- Jerica is cocky, self rightous, and values her own opinion highly. She rarely ever takes orders from the kindom, but often is right in her own sense. She is not an easy person to be around unless you can understand her motives. She is often bitter and sarcastic, and is likely to shoot you down if you say anything while she's upset. She is always tired because she has severe insomnia.

History- She knows nothing about her past for an unknown reason.

Weapon (Can not be similar to anyone that has posted before as far as the Kingdom Officials go)- Longbow - she is very avid with it. (She may carry a knife for close-up protection, if that's okay, but she rarely if ever uses it.)

Personality- Nora is willing to follow instructions, for the most part, but has a strong sense of right and wrong, and that overrides just about anything short of a direct order. Although she rarely defends herself verbally, she's defensive of her friends and is usually willing to take the brunt of any work or damage for comrades. She can get insecure and often has to prove her own usefulness to herself.

Appearance (needs a picture) Tall, chestnut brown eyes, wavy-ish dark blond hair that gets darker away from the roots.

History- Nora grew up in a half-forested farmland. She learned to shoot there and found herself very skilled; so skilled, in fact, that her father sent her to an archery contest when she was fourteen. She won, gaining public notice, and ended up in the army shortly after. It didn't take long for her to become elite after that.

Name- Malkyn Goulaffre

Age- 19 (she thinks - she's lost count. She could be anywhere from 17 to 21)

Weapon- two long daggers, good for throwing or close-range combat.

Personality- stubborn, vengeful, but knowledgeable about her line of work.

History- Her village was destroyed by fire when she was about 12. She escaped by running to the forest, where she wandered for a time, until one day, tired and hungry, she came across a band of robbers, who took her in and trained her as an assassin.

Up For Love?- Sure, but she's rather picky

Name: Cain

Age: 21

Affiliation: Bandit

Weapon Whips. They're excellent for wrapping around victums and enforcing deep lashes. But his thing is poison. Everyone knows that if you need help poisoning an unwanted relative, Cain is the one to call up. He himself is immune to the stuff and it is even rumored that he once killed his victum by passing the poisen into her mouth while they were kissing.

Personality: Cain is heartless. It's not like he goes out of his way to make other people misserable, but he just doen't care. He's heartless, he has no feelings. He just does what he's told to do, gets the money, and the rest is none of your bussiness. Pretty much it goes like this: you ignore him, he'll ignore you, everybody's happy. You want something done? Fine, he'll do it, but let him do it his way.

History: Nothing is really known about Cain. But rumours have it that he was a killer since a child, people say he killed his own brother. How or why depends on who is spreading the romour.

Other: He wants to find the Dracons because he heard that Dracon blood is the most powerful poison out there.

Name: Ciel

Age: Looks about 20 but in reality, because time and age does not matter to her people, she cannot say.

Affiliation: Temple Monk, one of the last ones who went into hiding during the invasions. She is much more likely to side with the bandits as her main goal is to avenge her people. However, she could also choose to infiltrate the Kingdom's warriors and ruin them from the inside out. She would be a useful ally as she knows the area and seems to have intimate knowledge of dracons, the beasts attacking the kingdom, and ancient magic that seemingly died out with the monks.

Weapon A 5 foot staff with retractable blades. This is an excellent tool that can deal significant damage and can work offensively as well. It is also useful for channeling some of the magic she possesses (energy based), a trait of most temple monks. Though originally this magic was benign, used primarily for healing, she is now using it for vengeance, and it can be very dangerous to the target as well as Ciel herself. She also appears to have some influence over the attacking beasts as well as the dracons.

History: In peacetime she was kind, generous, and gave herself completely to the life of a temple monk. As the kingdoms began encroaching on the land, instead of supporting an unsuccessful rebellion, she went into hiding with two other monks who eventually committed suicide when the situation became too dire. She watched from the sidelines as her people were wiped out, too afraid to do anything to stop it. Being, perhaps, the last of her kind, she carries a huge burden of regret and self-hate, and has sworn to dedicate the rest of her life to making up for her cowardice and betrayal and maybe even the revival of the Monk's way of life. She heard of the Kingdom's quest as well as the bandits and is currently following them in order to keep tabs on their journey as well as do all that she can to prevent the Kingdom from returning to the temple.

Personality: She speaks with a purpose and will not talk unless there is reason too. She is vague, unhappy, and seems driven by pure hate and the need for revenge. She is tough, stubborn, and aggressive and has absolutely no mercy. In fact, under every situation she will choose justice over mercy. She will not share much about herself and prefers to distance herself from everyone, being only an ally of convenience. She is bitter, resentful and cold. However, she is broken, and she can become consumed by her hatred, causing her to completely lose it and destroy everything and everyone around her out of pure anger. She is clever though and very good at manipulating people and situations.
