This is somewhat random, but I was wondering what time period this is set in. Are we in ancient Greece? Or are the gods still hanging around in modern day? Either way would be cool, but it would be nice to be sure which.

The gods are still hanging around and it's modern day. I better go edit the plot to make that clear.

Both Hermes and Persephone are on "team Hades", although Hermes is a bit of a wild card and may choose to switch teams.

Question, do you have a specific person in mind as to who actually kidnapped Zeus?

I think it'd be really cool if Zues actually ran away... For some stupid reason.
Okay.
Hermes and Persephone. Team Hades. Got it ;)

Oh, and Artemis and Apollo are Team Poseidon, though Apollo probably won't be much help to anyone. Unless he falls in love with one of the mortals.

Hades is neutral. XD

No but for real Me and Leah have been plotting some fun Hades/Persephone sub plots and I've found out that apparently Hades is severely technologically impaired. XD

I'm thinking that maybe we can have some fun at his expense with that!

Ares will probably be in a group, not neutral, because he'll feel he'll need troops and allies.
And he'll go for the toughest, most ruthless group for increased efficiency.
So, probably Hades.
I can imagine Ares working with Hermes, if that's OK with Leah, firstly because I just love Hermes, and also because, as the best messenger in... well, in the world, he'll prove invaluable to Ares.
