Well...I drew this in about two days. First character sketch I've finished in a while. It looked pretty good when I finished it, but when I took a photo of it and put it on the computer, it looked horrible. I tried adjusting the contrast to get it to show up better, but my crappy image editor had a spazz and kept messing up the settings. So I just got creative with it, and ended up with this. Critiques are always appreciated.
EDIT: I should probably include a rough idea of her personality. Trish is a perpetual rebel; she ran away from home at the age of fourteen, met the main characters of the novel, and insisted on joining them in their adventures. Seductive, underhanded, and desperate for freedom, she eventually betrays her closest friends by siding with the villain, who offers her everything she has ever wanted, as long as she kills the hero of the story. She's an Elemental of Darkness.

Oooooo I like it! Good job there. Though I know nothing of your character, I find her mysterious, pixie-ish, capable- I have my views. Very nice! The blueness in the shadows was a good touch. This character is very compelling, I find myself wanting for a part in her story- Ahem.
Not much of a review, was that. But still, good job man. Lovin' it. I should really check out more of your artwork....

Creepiness! Dx But yes, you've nailed the entire concept of it all! xD
Trish really reminds me of those Korean.Japanese horror movies. Especially 'The Grudge' and 'Shutter'. I like the portrait a lot. But for me, the temperature is far too blue-y. And the black veil over the head is a nice touch, though it feels too strong. I honestly can't see much of the character but you've shown almost enough to keep the suspense at bay. Her smirk and her hair have been really well drawn
All in all, a great piece! I'm no artist at all but I love viewing. So I'm sorry if this review isn't as much as you wanted it to be. But I really liked this! ^.^
Hello! I love this (even though I'm a total scaredy cat) because you've captured the element of darkness well. I also associate it with creepy, though I'm not sure if this falls in line with your character/novel's setting. While she's evil, it doesn't necessarily mean she's straight from a horror movie. Okay, I'm not making sense xD Two suggestions I have! 1) Her mouth - It looks like she's trying to smile, or otherwise it's just an odd expression. Maybe you'd want to go for a demented/twisted kind of smile? It doesn't quite look neutral to me either. 2) Her collarbone - The indents (I'm not sure what you call this) in the middle are defined, but the rest of her collarbones don't stand out, so it seems rather inconsistent. You may want to define her collarbones to create a more gaunt look. More angular than soft to match her character. 3) Font - I get a very pirate-y vibe from it xD Anyway, these are all small issues and I love how you made the top part of her head fade to black. Eyes are very expressive features, so using the lack of eyes also stands out. Keep up the great job! ~Meep(:

At first, I though it was just darkness, and then when I scrolled it down a bit, this image came to me. It was a bit astonishing at first, but it did make a great effect. I love the transition of darkness between the higher areas to the lighter areas. I also like the quote below, but the font didn't appeal to me much. It needs to be a bit scarier maybe.
Darkness Rating: Love it, fear it. That's the right thing I should quoth to this here photo of yers.
Good luck making more of these, whatever these are Al
