What's the goal of the storybook? How many people you want to join? What are your guidelines for the storybook? What characters do you want people to write about? What is this about? Give a more detailed explaination of your storybook.

Look around the storybook forum. See how people form theirs..get ideas from how their storybook is. Give the readers details of the storyline. Give a basic outline of what the character profiles should be...name,age,race(species), personality, flaws, etc.

Name: Tesla Finley
Age: 17
Appearance: Straight dark brown hair falling just above her shoulders, slight frame, dark blue eyes the color of sapphires with spider leg eyelashes. Freckles, slightly tan.
Skills: Strategy, endurance.
Character: Tes is a nose-to-the-grindstone type of girl; very focused, sometimes too focused, and can be very determined. She's not one to compromise her values or bend for her own good or the good of others if she thinks something is right. She can be quick to anger sometimes and extremely slow to forgive if she feels like it, but she'll be a true friend who will never desert you, even if she's mad at you. She doesn't make rash decisions and is sometimes slightly too hesitant, but she can think under pressure and make split second decisions if she has to. Solitary by nature, she prefers planning and brooding in a corner than joking amongst comrades and it's sometimes hard to tell if she likes you, but it's obvious when she doesn't.

John Mudd wandered around, having no real place to go he just wandered. The base camp for the resistance was small, fitting only a few thousand, Mudd found himself at the foot of the wall, with what little money the resistance leaders had managed to get a hold of they had bought supplies to put up a few meager defenses. It was about 3-feet thick and had barbed wire and spikes going along the top. Mudd felt some raindrops hit his hands as he walked, knowing the weather he decided it was best to find some where to get out of the coming rain. Alabama he remembered, used to be full of tornadoes and crazy weather. He wasn't very old when the Lizards took over, the military name for them were Switcheyes, because the Lizards did not have pupils their eyes switched color depending on how bright it was. Red in bright places, Green in dark ones. Mudd reached his tent, Mappe was covered in them, they didn't offer a whole lot of protection but it was better than nothing. Thunder rumbled up in the sky and, as if the thunder was a signal the rain suddenly started to pour out of the clouds. The rain was hard to hear through but Mudd heard the sound of the siren, it was a signal someone was at the gate. A guard got down from his post and opened the big, heavy wooden doors. Then led a group of people through the rain to the massive tent known as the "Visiting Center" it was really just a big tent to put survivors. intrigued by curiosity Mudd got up and ran out of the tent the mud was ankle deep and not very pleasant but he made his way to the group of people, he started to check them out. He was a genius in his own way not very bright at most things but he was creative. Looking each person up and down he decided none were up to the task. Mudd was secretly putting together a group to go out actually do something he planned to go out into the Dark world and bring it light. But so far he could find no one up to his expectations. Then Mudd noticed someone he hadn't noticed the first time. She was dark haired and apparently kept to herself just a bit, She seemed very focused on whatever it was she was doing, Mudd was intrigued b her strange behavior most of the girls he knew were just...weird, he decided she looked up to the task, and went to go ask, he figured he might have a better chance of saying "yes" if she knew him just a tad bit better. Focus was a good thing to have in a group of fighters...

Tesla was relieved she'd finally made it to Mappe Island. All the people she'd been travelling with had been complaining the entire way and she was tired of listening to them. However, she'd have to put up with it for a little bit longer as she filed into the giant tent they called the "Visitor's Center." As Tesla waited for everyone else to get through the tent's entrance, she glanced around at the rest of the camp. The security really needed to be beefed up, and she began thinking about how she'd rearrange the camp and where she'd put the entrance.
That's when she noticed someone was looking at her. The man had red hair and was walking towards her. She decided to act like she hadn't noticed him and filed into the Visitor's Center.

The girl was gone she just walked off and disappeared, Mudd sighed and headed back towards his tent. A group of soldiers ran by, Ignoring him, they hurried off and disappeared through the gate. Mudd walked over to his friend David's tent, David was one of Mudd's few friends, he stepped inside to find David playing with a beautiful silver sword, David was balancing the sharp tip on the end of his forefinger trying to keep it up straight, he looked up and saw Mudd, and dropped the sword.
"Sooo, hows it goin?" David asked as he continued to play with the sword.
"Aww well same as usual ignored and wet" Mudd sat down and watched David, "so, your sure you won't go with me?" David looked at Mudd quite seriously.
"General Adkins himself once told me that we each have our own battles, i have yet to fight mine but i know it will come" David paused and passed him the sword. "Here, i found this with one of those stupid Switcheyes, i know you like them."
Mudd was delighted he loved swords and knives, but little did he get to hold them much less get to have one. He got up to leave.
"Thanks David Echoe."

After finding nothing interesting in the Visitor's Center, Tesla headed out to explore the rest of the tent, still looking at the camp's defenses. She was too focused on the walls to notice the man stepping out of his tent, and he was busy thanking someone to notice her until she ran into him.
The sword he was carrying went flying from his hands, but Tesla caught it before it fell on her foot.
"Watch where your going," she snaps at the boy, handing him the sword. Then, less snapishly, she added, "nice sword."

"Oooookay" Mudd said as inched away, "wait a minute!" He remembered she was the girl he was gonna ask to join his group! He looked around and just caught a glimpse of her as she walked into the field of tents. Mudd chased after her, catching up he stopped in front of her.
"Hi, you see im putting together this-" The girl turned and walked the other way. Slapping his forehead Mudd had to jog to keep up with her pace, "group of fighters and-"he blinked and, gone again. He looked around again, this girl had a real good knack for disappearing. Swinging his sword he wandered back to his tent to throw a plan together.

It's not that she didn't think this group the boy was starting was interesting. She just felt like the boy was cornering her, which was something she didn't let anyone do. Not unless they were unarmed and she was. That had been a real nice sword, pure silver.
After she was sure she lost the boy she went back to her assigned tent to think about what the boy had said. He was definitely ambitious, if a bit reckless, to be trying to put together a group of fighters and... whatever else he was planning to do. The guy hadn't mentioned his name, but she was sure she could find him again if she wanted to. He definitely had good taste, picking her out of the herd of new arrivals.
She set her pack down and started organizing her few possessions. A raggedy blanket, a change of clothes, a rock for fires, and a few scraps of paper. Nothing worth stealing, but the items had helped her before in some tight spots. She organized them, keeping the rock in her hand, being the closest thing she had to a weapon, and curled up to sleep.

Mudd had come up with a plan,a brilliant plan. He got his new sign out and put it on top of his tent where everyone could see. It read PUTTING TOGETHER FIGHTING GROUP FIND JOHN MUDD FOR DETAILS. It was genius, pure genius. He went in his tent to get a snack and waited for people to start piling up to join his group. There was no possible way his plan could fail!

It had been 3 hours, and not a soul had asked about joining, any passerby that happened along his sign pretended that it did not exist. Typical, just typical.

When Tesla woke up, she stretched and headed out. That's when she saw the sign.
PUTTING TOGETHER FIGHTING GROUP FIND JOHN MUDD FOR DETAILS. She sighed and headed into the tent.
"You're John Mudd?" she asked the boy who was, of course, the same boy with the silver sword. He looked surprised for a second, then nodded. Tesla shifted her weight, unsure what to do next. He motioned for her to take a seat, which she did, reluctantly, but still making sure she was the closest to the door.
"Oh," she said, "I'm Tesla. So what are you planning to do with this 'fighting group?'"
"So you'll join?" John asked.
"I never said that," Tesla said quickly, "just tell me about it. What do you want to accomplish, and how are you planning to accomplish it?"
