I've gone back to doing a bit of anime drawing, using some manga as reference. I don't even remember which manga I used for this, but the reference was a pretty average looking kid so I had to be creative lol. It turned out to be some kind of emo vampire. This was just a doodle, getting back into the style, so altogether it took me about an hour or so.

My favorite thing is the colors, but besides that I think there are a few things a little iffy about this. Reviews would help x)

Well, I would like to say that it was a rather....very....artistic and colourful piece of work. I really liked the hair of the boy. It was very detailed. I also liked the way how you added a dark theme to it with not-so-dark colors.....Anyway, keep drawing. :)

Hello again, BlackSheep (:

I really like the coloring in this piece of work as most vampire drawings focus on shadows. I thinks it's cool that you brought out the more... colorful side of this vamp.

But the thing it really needs some help on is the body and head. He seems too angular (even for a vampire, if you were trying to make him that way) and his head is just a bit out of proportion to his body.
Also, his right shoulder seems to meld with his head and doesn't even give an illusion of having a neck on that side. You might try and draw a bit of neck there or put some space between his head and shoulder - at the very least. Just be sure not to make it too long.

Good job!

Keep drawing (and coloring),

Hello!

I really love this drawing - the way you used the colour is amazing, and I especially love the eyes and the colour around them - they're so beautiful an large, with a kind of hungry/dead/tired tint XD.

On to the critique:

1) The colouring of the mouth is very... strange. I think the way you've coloured the red looks awkward, as if it's hovering over his mouth and covering part of his fangs instead of being inside it (where I think it's supposed to be ;)).

2) The way you've placed his head on his neck is kind of odd, it seems like it's about to fall off to the left, I think you should move it up a bit higher, so it doesn't look like it's about to join his left shoulder.

3) His hair doesn't really hang right on his head (I really love the hair itself :3) it sort of poofs out at the edges, defying gravity.

Keep up the drawing,

~Tinkem :)

Hey xXTheBlackSheepXx! :D

Well, Well, Well. Look what we have here. ;)
It looks so friggin, man! ;D

My opinion is like the points below:-

● This was a beautiful piece because the scariness in this doodle has made me think twice before I did tell the overall result.

● It's a little messed up. I'll be moving on to that after explaining the points.

● The colours you've used are wonderful, just like you've said. (Y) It be awesome! ^.^

● It sort of looks like a vampire. :P

Okay, to the picture now.

The hair: I like the colours you've given here. I kind of imagined a girl with Black hair and white highlights and just gave me shrills. xP The spookiness. Woah! And that style. Oh my Gosh. You've done a really good job with the hair. ;)

The Face: Here, the face was the part it looked messed up. For example, let's start with the mouth? It actually looks like she's drunk blood out of someone and the colours you've used at that part of the face doesn't match. Its not suiting it. I guess its because you've given a similar background, too? I don't know. But the part I liked are those eyes, dude! <3 That is just so original. And the nose is fine but its funny the way you've given it purple and skin colour? Lol. xDD

The Top: Somehow, I felt the top a little too smudgy. Don't you think so too? And its weird for the way the neck can be so long. It looks. Well, awkward? But it looks like its given a smudgy sketch. So, I like that part very much.

Overall: Awesome! I hope I wasn't too nitpicky. :S I would definitely give this an 8/10 (Y)

Cheers,

Amazing piece of work. It shouldn't be "manga" though, because it's not like the mainstream japanese stuff. Don't take that negatively, I meant to say that it's really unique, the way you use white to shadow and elaborate on the hair and the mix of colours on the boy's face. The colour part is the most unique thing I've ever seen. You've made mismatching colours match really well. The eyes are really well done too. I couldn't stop staring at them for a while. :) Great job!
