Looks great, except the "C" sticks out in an odd way as it doesn't match the rest of the text and...are you sure that's an original/and/or/uncopyrighted piece of artwork? Cause if it isn't, your in serious trouble.

Whoa - that's good. The words are so strange, in a good way, because it draws you in. I think you do need to sort out the letters and placing of the title. The C sticks out, and the line near the 'of' comes too close to the top of the building. The colouring's great, because gives it a kind of mysterious futuristic atmosphere. Just move around the title a little bit, and it'll look perfect

It looks so professional, it's amazing. I agree that the 'C' sticks out a little, but it makes it 'quirky' (in a good way though). The fonts you've used are fantastic. I love how you've done the 'by line' in it's own little area, it makes it stand out but fit in at the same time, (I know I'm not sure how that works either but it does). The colours are perfect, almost exactly what I had in mind, they capture the atmosphere in the stroy very well.

Hey, I'm really bad at reviewing bookcovers but I'm gonna try x)

It looks really cool, I think everyone can agree on that. The colors and font go really nice together so all the attention is fixed on the image (at least mine was xP). And that picture is incredible! I want to stare at it for hours.

But the thing I could never understand with bookcovers is how much work and editing went into the actual cover. It seems like you found a cool pic, inserted a typing box on the bottom with a black background and typed the name in white, then did another text box in the corner with a transparent background and typed in the title. I'm thinking that you did some color editing to get the bronzy feel, but I'm not sure.

I guess with bookcovers all people are looking for is something that looks cool, but when I think of an art contest I personally would judge it more on originality and the effort that was put into making it. Not saying you didn't spend hours on this, but I'd like to see more personalization, so that it doesn't just look like you copy and pasted something you found.

I have to agree with Eloquent Dragon about the copyright issues too. This looks like something you'd find off deviantart, and a ton of the professional work on there is copyrighted. Sometimes people are ok with you just dropping them a message saying you're using their art, and sometimes not. So be sure to look into that stuff so that you're not taking it without permission. I know I'd feel hurt if I found something I drew on some random site, and having no acknowledgment to me whatsoever.

All that aside, this is a great looking cover! It makes me want to open the book and peek inside ^_^

Hey! This looks awesome! Where did you find that text? It's amazing!
The only critisizm I can give you is an idea on where to put your title. This image looks squashed and not particuarly standard-novel-shaped, but if you were to just shove it and a block of black under the author name you could fiddle there with placement, and it would look fine. Further fiddling with textures or colouring of the text could tie the words in even better with the image.
