Hello Everyone!

Hi Everyone!
I'm Forgotten Spellbinder (random, I know), I'm 15,and go to a Secondary School in Singapore.
I would say I'm new, but it's been about 2 months since I've created my account and haven't bothered to touch it since then.

I'm new to the whole writing thing, so please don't be too quick to gag on a piece that I do. I really want to improve as much as I can, here on YWS, and so I appreciate honest reviews, be they sugar coated or harsh. So please, please be frank. I like encouragement, but maybe not just that?
I generally write prose,but I really like reading poetry too, since it's so cryptic. Who knows? maybe I'll write one sometime.

My interests include reading, watching movies, music, and sports. Ah, yes. Writing too. I pretty much read any kind of genre and read every book from cover to cover, but my favorites seem to hover around romance and thrilling adventure. As for music, I like Classical, Jazz, Pop, and pretty much anything with a catchy tune. I've never learned to play any musical instruments, but I've always wanted to play the piano and violin, even though I can't even read a score properly. When I say sports, I mean just playing, since I couldn't care less about watching other people play, no matter how famous, on TV matches and stuff. I really like the color blue. But I digress.

If you need any help with anything, anything at all, I promise I'll do my best to help, so don't hesitate to ask. Just keep in mind that I might be in the same situation

Finally, I have a tight schedule and might take long to upload things or reply, but be patient(not like you'll be waiting or anything), as even during the rare occasion that I have any free time, my ideas take very long to arrive, the snobbish little things.

Other than that, I'm really excited to be a part of this site and am looking forward to the time when I finally post something! Thank you for taking the time to read!

Welcome to Young Writers Society and don't worry about not posting earlier we are a pretty easy going bunch and it doesn't matter when you post it is just so that you can tell people a bit about yourself and get to know a few members.

We hope you have an awesome time here and from your introduction i can gather that you are needless to say a very busy person! Just chill out and have fun and most of all post some of your work here! there is nothing more rewarding then posting a work and receiving loads of awesome feedback from some pretty incredible writers. I'll see you around and if you have any questions then just post them on my wall.

Hehe I can relate to that, when I first joined I got lost all the time but know it is really easy to find my way around, it is all just about snooping around every forum and clicking on everything you see. I guarantee you will be finding you way around here easily in no time!

Also wanted to ask, what are featured topics? The ones you choose on your profile?

It depends, the ones on the homepage are works which have received the most likes in the past 24 hours and the ones that are on your profile are random works that you are proud of or want people to read. Hopefully this answers your question, if not then sorry I'm not the best at explaining things.

I hope you're enjoying the site so far. It does take some getting used to, but everyone here is really friendly and we all want to help. If you ever have any questions, you can ask one of the green people (they're moderators) or anyone else for that matter, including me.

Oo! The smilies are my favourite too. We have some pretty wicked ones here. My personal favourite is the elephant. I use it a lot, hence my location.
