This is, Alexis, she's the MainCharacter in a screenplay story of mine. Gist of the story is, the world uses robotic women as substitutes and fill in's for real women and they all look like this, Alexis clones. The real Alexis, who the clones were fashioned from, has long brown hair, but, after she's accused of murdering her father, the great Tugun Ellison, creater of the clone women, she must disguise herself as the robots to figure out who framed her and who killed her father.
And yeah, here's Alexis. I sketched her, and then colored in Gimp.
Wow ! You can draw really really well. I'm personally a person who works on their stick figures (which aren't very good either). I really like the way that the colours blend, and makes Alexis look artificial but at the same time naturalistic. Well thats what I think anyway. I'd really like to see more of your work. Just thinking- maybe a bit more purple? (it's my favourite colour) Yeah, well thats all i can think of- draw your heart out.
In your golden chain of friendship- consider me a link.
This is very good, the plot sounds interesting, I would love to hear it as it comes, but anyways, if you would like me to be nit pickky, I would say the only thing a bit awkward (other then the fact shes naked. . ) is her nose. The actual nose part-the very bottom is a bit too skinny if you ask me. It just doesn't fit with the rest of her features. An easy way to get the nose to look right, is to look in the mirror. everyone's nose is in perfect proportions to their own face, so you can use that as a bit of a guide. Other then that I think it's pretty flawless. Sorry If I'm being a bit mean. Also, the eyes are amazing. Great Job! Love, Little Lion Woman

Yeah, Firewriter. Her hair is a bit faded. I wanted to add another layer or two to give it more depth, but I'm lazy. Haha.
And, LittleLionWoman, her nose is weird. Haha. That's the one thing I had issues with. The bottom is too narrow and looks odd when her face is that wide. And I do all my character portraits naked. Haha. I suck at drawing clothes on proper figures. I draw fashion design sketches, but they're much easier when their 2-dimensional and on a stick-like model silhouettes.
Hello. First off, I'd like to say I love the shading. I personally am GIMP-challenged, but it looks like she's wearing foundation, and it's awesome. On the outline itself, the head kind of shifts to the top right. The neck on the left side is bendy. The lips are slightly tilted too. Great shading and eyes but if you're looking to revise it, you can focus on the shape of the hair/head (try to make them more symmetrical), straightening the left side of her neck, and rotating her lips a little. What always helps is taking the picture and placing it in front of a mirror, if it looks fine backwards then you probably have the symmetry down. xP Happy drawing/GIMPing/character profiling!

P.S. Did I mention how pretty the glowing eyes are?
Please take care to use good grammar when making a post!
First off, you have some serious talent. Sometimes I get a little skeptical about people using computer programs to spruce up their pictures, but in this case it looks pretty good. The expression is quite well done. I like the story idea, and she really looks like she belongs in the situation.
The shading is quite nice, and the eyes are admirably good; I know how difficult it can be to draw two almost identical eyes. The left eye and eyebrow are a little misshapen, though.
A few critiques--
The shoulders: too square. They should be a little more rounded, and should slant down instead of up. The neck: too long, and a bit too skinny. I went through a phase of this myself; called it the 'giraffe-neck days.' She has a very strong jawline, so the thin neck makes her look like a doll. The head: top of the hair is too protruding. It's good to add some depth by showing the part and the top of the head, but for the angle you have on the face, the back of the heads extends out too far.
Keep up the good work!
I aim to misbehave.
Is it weird in here, or is it just me? --Steven Wright
The line of her neck is bendy on the left. It wasn't like that when I sketched it, but when i went over the pencil with gimp paintbrush, because I'm only using a mouse, its hard to stay perfectly on the lines. And her head is a little lopsided. Haha. Poor her.
Payne, great stuff.
Her shoulders do make her look 'boxey'. Her left eye and eyebrow aren't shaped exactly the same as the right, purposely. Looking at pictures of real people, the eyebrows are never identical and perfectly symmetrical nor are the shape of the eyes. Though because she is robotic, I tried to make them as perfect as possible but still somewhat realistic.
And, 'giraffe-neck days', yes I think I may have a bit of that going on. Haha.
And guys, the eyes are my favorite part. Tried to make the color blend so they looked like marbles. Haha.
Appreciate the feedback guys. I may tweak her here and there, or redo her from scratch and get all the symmetry right first.
This is really pretty, the skin and eyes look absolutely beautiful. You definitley know how to use GIMP. I bet a lot of work went into the blending of the skin because it's really smooth. It looks like she's wearing a lot of makeup, especially her lips which look like they were loaded with gloss, but if you meant it that way then great job . The only crituque I have is the hair, but you already know what I'm going to say, just spend more time on it. It lacks in comparison to the rest of the picture. Add more strands, brighter colors, and more shading and highlights. Also, the top of her head looks wrong. I can't quite explain it, but if you look closely it isn't shaped quite right.
Anyways, amazing picture!

Hi! Sorry I didn't get a chance to review your work. I only *liked* it. But here I am. (Okay so I didn't read the comments obove so ignore it if I repeat anything) Firstly, the eyes are beautiful. I like your choice of color for the pupils and her hair. I little more practice on the eye lashes would be good. She's got the I'm-going-to-kill-you look on her face. I wonder why. I think the right eyebrow (it's my right) is a bit wrong or too slanted. The lips are glossy. I like that. There seems to be something wrong with the hair maybe. The tips of her hair (you've got to work on that). Her neck seems a bit long but other than that, it's a very beautiful drawing. Do practice more drawings on GIMP. I hope I wasn't that harsh. I wasn't trying to be (honestly). Anyway, I really liky your style. Goodluck with future posts.
You can wish for death... but you can't wish it away
Well, for one, think it's beautiful. I can't use GIMP at all, but Alexis looks really great. I like the hair, but as everyone else (more or less) has said, it needs to be a bit brighter. Coz I think purple hair should really stand out, ya 'know!? But, on the whole, it's absolutely brilliant and I think you've got a real talent here. Keep Drawing, ~Leopard
