Finally I'm posting the next addition to the story. It took me long enough. =/ With the upcoming examination and the influx of homework, I'm left with little time to write. Or perhaps that was just a matter of my time management skills. Whatever the reason, I'm done with Chapter 4 and here it is.

Please feel free to comment and critic! It always helps. :D

CHAPTER 4
Albin was panicking. Shocked, to say the least. He charged forward to the row of buildings in front of him and hid at an alleyway.

“Agh! Holy-- What in the world?” Albin almost shouted. The townsmen were screaming still, and the Seers had already made their moves; descending the roofs and heading towards the guards.

A Seer strolled - no, the Seer seemed to be floating toward the guard that had grabbed Albin. The guard was trembling now, his hands reaching his waist to grab his blade, but the grip of the blade slid past his fingers when he held it and contacted with the floor. There was a sudden distortion in the air where the Seer’s hand was; and the distortion disappeared just as quick as it appeared...

For a second, nothing seemed to happen, but suddenly, the guard flew back - as if he had gotten pushed by someone - and something broke, leaving fruits scattered about the place. Albin could see a motionless body on the ground, though not yet bleeding. The guard, he thought. Then Albin found himself trying to maintain his balance; the air around him gained speed, threatening him to lose it.

A sudden gust of wind met with Albin’s face, and the Seer appeared.

“You’re doing this‽” He exclaimed. The Seer did nothing but stare at Albin, letting Albin meet the wind user’s golden pupils... Then the wind came to a halt, letting Albin recover. The Seer’s feet touched the ground now, though they were still not moving. By now the other guards that were present had been taken down by the other skilled Seers, though there were reinforcements arriving.

“You’ll come with me,” The Seer said. The voice behind this mask was one that flowed smoothly. It was a feminine voice.

Albin’s brows arched toward his bridge. First I get killed, then to jail... What next, he thought to himself. “I doubt I will.”

“This isn’t a question,” with that, the Seer grabbed hold of Albin’s hand, and despite her being a woman, she had quite a firm grip. The two picked up speed fast, the wind, of course, had a part in this; and soon, they past the area, leaving the area before the other Seers.

As they left, Albin heard the shouts of guards - screams of an inevitable loss. They approached the gates of the town and stopped. The Seer glanced back for a moment, but her attention diverted back to the gates just as quick.
The gates stood as it were, but there was a screeching, as if someone had been trying to open the gates, but the rusty mechanics were hindering it. Slowly, a small dent appeared in front of the two. The dent deepened until the part of the gate blew off onto the ground. Albin’s had not the time to react to the magnitude of the power as the Seer burst into a dash, pushing Albin to do the same.

They entered the forest and slipped past the branches and trees that stood in their way. They stopped in a cluster of trees and were suddenly joined by two Seers. One of them made a hand gesture, and the earth rose from the ground, revealing an entrance to an underground passage.

“Wait - Where are you taking me?” Albin asked. The Seers said naught and seemed to usher Albin into the passage. Once they entered, a stairwell leading downwards could be seen. There were no handrails; only the dirt walls were there. Albin slowly walked down, the light growing dim as he descended. Once the Seers followed, the earth fell back into the ground slowly, leaving the place in total darkness.
Everything is so troublesome! D:.
