Hmmm. How to begin? It looks like we are already aquainted and on our way. I'm going to start us of as we're making camp for the evening, a few days after the party encountered Haven. Sound good?
Jenko
Brooding,Jenko hauled an armful of firewood into the centre of camp. He was in a bad mood. He liked being outdoors, and he didn't mind hard work, but he was worried about his parents. They were getting older. How were they going t handle the farm without him there?
Yet he couldn't regret making the journey, even though he still felt woefully unprepared. He did want to do something to protect his homeland, but more importantly he needed to look out for his siblings. They wanted to go on a quest, and he was determined to follow them, and make sure nothing happened to then.
He placed his load on the gound and looked around for his brother and sister. They were both busy with their own chores, but Firego was getting distracted quizing the werelion about his powers.
Sighing, he began to try and get a fire going. Maybe once they had a makeshift hearth he could get back into the spirit of adventure.
I pushed back a strand of hair and watched the preparations going on around me. Jenko was off gathering firewood, keeping an eye out for Firego and I. All around us our companions were working on preparations for camp. I felt a little bit lazy doing nothing, but I saw no job that wasn't already being done. Besides, it was so much more fun to sit and watch, especially our newest companion, Haven. He was interesting. Of course, so were the rest of us. My mind drifted back to home, where our parents would just now be noticing our absense. they would find Firego's letter explaining where we had gone. Mother would cry, father would read and reread the letter in his icy silence. But they would do nothing, there was nothing they could do. they knew us and our foolishness. Especially me. If I got it into my head to do something, no one would be able to stop me. My thoughts were interrupted by Firego taunting me for not helping out, so I dutifully picked up my bow and stood up, swinging my quiver of arrows onto a branch of the tree I had been leaning against. Doing the same with my bow I began to gather firewood, the only job that seemed necessary, considering the air was already turning into ice.

Wyverus emerged from the forest at the rear of the camp, carrying a wild boar on his shoulder, steadied by his right hand, as well as three rabbits in his left. Wyverus considered his hunting session rather successful, after all, everyone relied on him to keep them fed. And what a feast they'd have tonight!
Wyverus noticed Jenko in the centre of the camp, lighting a fire. He strolled over towards the warmth, still hauling the boar along, waving to Lamrika as she left the camp. Wyverus stopped as he noticed a gaggle of geese flying towards the camp. Might as well have a warm down Wyverus thought. He dropped the boar and layed the rabbits on top of it. He spaced his legs shoulder width apart and lowered his arms to his sides, then took a deep breath. He clenched his fists then jerked them to his chest, he slowly lengthened his arms out as far as they could stretch. Shadows spirralled around his arms and then coated his hands. He snapped his left palm at the lead goose and a tendril of darkness shot upwards. It followed and then impaled it, though no blood leaked from it. Wyverus finally wrenched his arm back. The goose shot straight into his hand.
Wyverus picked up the boar and rabbits and headed over to Jenko. 'Hello my friend' Wyverus said, as he dropped his catch at the bottom of the fire.

"Hey," he replied. "Looks like you had some success."
Jenko was extremly glad that Wyverrus had joined their quest. He had some incredibly useful skills. And it was really nice to have another familiar face in their disperate group.
He didn't feel quite so anxious about the necromancer. Obviously Wyverus could get himself in trouble, that was how they met in the forst place, but it wasn't as likely as Lamika or Firego. Mostly Firego, actually.
"I'm pretty much done her. Would you like some help with those?"
'Whatever makes you happiest Jenko, after all, my butchery skills aren't exactly the best' Wyverus replied. He gazed in the direction of the forest that Lamika had entered, hoping she actually came back before it got too dark, the sun was already beginning to set. Lamika was the only female in the group, which kind of made Wyverus a bit more gallant in his strides. Wyverus was also wondering about his possible relationship with Pelleas, after all it was a well known fact that Necromancers and Soulweavers were not exactly keen on each other, an he didn't want anything violent sprouting from this. 'What shall we start on?' Wyverus asked. 'I would suggest the boar, that thing had it in for me'.

"So how does it feel? You know when you change." Asked Firego, handing me tent pegs to hammer down. "When the moon forces the change its like fire under my skin. Like the world has stopped and i'm filled with energy, waiting to burst. Then it strikes. The animal, the hunger. I have to fight, i mean really fight with all my will, to keep control. It's like the lion tears it's way out of me, clawing and snarling. If i relax, accept it, then it's like sliding into a lake, i just slip into my other form. It's much tamer that way. But sometimes i forget or i'm near people, then i have to fight." I replied calmly, finishing pitching another tent and examining the look on his face. "Wow. That sounds horrible. Couldn't you, i don't know, partly change? Let it out in peices?" "I can partly change, yes, but its not like walking a dog. The beast waits, the moon comes and bam!" I smashed the last peg in making Lamika jump across the camp. I looked back to Firego embarassed. "Woops. Anyway i could really use a stretch, i'm going to go look for Taur. If you have anymore questions i'm happy to tell you what i know." "Your going to wish you hadn't said that." Laughed Jenko across camp. I stood up, stretched my back, let out a purr of satisfaction and jogged off toward where Taur was sat on a tree stump, having felled the whole thing for firewood.

"Yes, we'll want to get it cooking as quickly as possible."
A nice roast would be perfect on night that was rapidlly growing colder. It was lucky that Wyverus had such a good haul. Everyone would be able to eat their fill for once.
it was funny how thier little group had grown, and so swiftly! Mother and father would only just now be missing them. Yet he supposed that a mission like theirs was meant to attract helpers. Whatever fates had conspired to bring them together, he was glad of them. As long as everyone continued to cooperate.
He looked up at the sound of Haven enthusiastically finishing his job, and got the tail ends of the conversation.
"Your going to wish you hadn't said that." he laughed.
Jenko was beginning to like the werelion, although the initial encounter was worrisome. He couldn't blame Haven for his condition, but he very much hoped it wouldn't become a problem.
'Do you trust him?' Wyverus asked. 'I mean the werelion. I've encountered werewolves, weresasquatches, and a variety of other shapeshifters in my travels, and from what I've seen none of them are in control'.
'Well I do', Jenko answered 'he hasn't eaten Firego yet, so in a way, he's more tame than you!' he laughed.
Wyverus let out a small chuckle. 'Well, while you get on with the skinning, I'll go check how Taur is doing with the vegetables. I'm surprised a creature his size can have such acute vision, but I digress. The sky is getting darker by the minute so we better get everyone back inside the camp and start thinking about who's on guard duty tonight'.
Jenko nodded.

Taur looked up from his work to see both Haven and Wyverus walking towards him from opposite sides of the camp. He wiped his knife off on his forearm and slipped it into his belt, then tossed the last parsnip into the pot ready for boiling. "It will be cold tonight," he called. Haven seemed to acknowledge him, though Wyverus merely blinked. "At least you have fur," Haven replied. Taur smiled, and stood. "I'd rather not awake to find myself shaven," Taur glanced up at the moon. Not full. Tonight, at least, he hoped to sleep in peace. He buried any doubts he felt about the werelion. Haven had already proven himself dedicated to the group; any suspicions Taur held were purely superstitious. "That's quite a catch, Wyverus," Taur tried to spark a little small talk. Wyverus smiled. "You can thank me once it's been skinned," he replied, indicating the knife at Taur's waist. With a sigh, Taur sat back down. Wyverus handed him a rabbit, and he got to work removing the pelt. Both Haven and Wyverus was gone when he looked up. This was going to be a lonely evening.
At the end of the day, when the sun is gone and the light is lost, the shadows will play.
I sighed in annoyance and swatted a fly away from my head. I couldn't stand it, the heat and all the people. I was slowly getting grumpier and grumpier and I knew that I couldn't handle it anymore. I jumped to my feet and threw my dinner on the floor in rage. I heard everyone on the campsite gasp and stop to hold their breath, everyone on the camp was staring at me as though I was some kind of beast.
My cheeks turned bright red under their gaze and I mumbled something absurd about feeling tired and I sloped off to my bed collapsing into the mat and banging my head against the pillow. What had I just done?
As i approached Taur i noticed Wyverus stride out of the shadows carrying a rabbit. "It will be cold tonight," called Taur. "At least you have fur," I smiled. Taur smiled, and stood. "I'd rather not awake to find myself shaven," he replied light heartedly. I noticed his gaze shift up to look at the moon. After a moment he seemed satisfied and tried to engage Wyverus in a little small talk. Good luck, i thought turning back to camp and walking away. I noticed Lamika shivering as she gathered wood. "Here," i held out my overcoat."You'll catch your death if your not careful." She took the coat and wrapped it around her shoulders. She reached out for her pile of firewood. "Don't worry, i've got it. You go sit down. I'll try and get the fire going." I recieved a smile through chattering teeth before she curled up around our make shift camp fire. I cleared some ground and got to work, only pausing to watch Godric throw his dinner on the floor, mumble and disappear into his tent. Finally i got a fire going and sat down to talk to the now warming Laminka while the others began roasting the hog, rabbits and parsnips. "So do you have any questions about what i am or where i'm from? Your brother certainly does." I watched a smirk flourish on her face.
