Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening to you all. I have decided to share with you some of my most recent photos, as well as a few old ones. Please feel free to tell me what you like/dislike about them - all your comments will be greatly appreciated. :D
If you also have a strong passion for photography, like me, i would very much encourage you to look at Olivia Bell Photography on facebook, and both her sisters. They are fantastic!! (:
Anyway, these are my photos. Hope you like them.

Weird/awesome cloud. I was meant to be getting ready for school but i couldn't just pass up the opportunity of this photo!

I went to see Bruno Mar's concert earlier in the year, and this is the photo on the way up in the plane. I'm suprised it turned out at all since i was terrified of being up so high, and didn't want to let go of the arm rests! :L

Another weird/awesome cloud. I've always found myself memorized by clouds, i just love them! I don't know why, but the darker they are the more interesting and wonderful to look at they are. Yes, you can call me weird all you like. (:

This is me trying to be creative. I wanted to make something that was funny/serious, if that is even possible? I think the meaning behind this photo has something powerful, even if the actual photo is a bit of a joke.

Me trying to be creative, once again. I'm not too sure about this one. I think that maybe the umberalla needs to be foward a bit more. I don't know. Suggestions?

Ah, these are nice =]. The first one looks like its alost painted. The textures of the clouds give us that feel of someone just gently tugging the paint on a canvas, its really nice and it contrasts well against the trees at the bottom. =] Also, the picture from the air, WHERE ARE YOU? That HAS to be some of the most gorgeous bits of country side I've ever seen. It reminded me heavily of Ireland, very beautiful =]. With the clothespin, I really enjoyed it, especially the words you put at the top, it really let us get a grip on what the photo was supposed to mean. And witht he last one, you had a really interesting angle and subject matter that made it something that everyone would want to look at. You have a simple object thats contrasted by these bits of color (sprinkles) Haha, but they're all really lovely. You did a great job =]

Great photos. I will include a little critique for every photo. Photo 1. The clouds are indeed unusual and very beautiful. I especially like how there appears to be layers of them. However, I think that there is too much empty skies that take away from the effects that clouds have. Also, the layer of sky above the clouds is too thick. From my point of view the photo would have been more effective if the scene was shifted down by about an inch on the photograph. Photo 2. I really like it. Photo 3. The photo is good. However, the picture seems too blunt; there is nothing that catches my attention or something that stands out. To me it has a rather gloomy feel. Photo 4. Great idea. The only critique is that there is a red article (not really sure what it is) at the bottom of the photograph that touches the central alligator piece; to me it is a little destructing and take a little out of the overall idea. Photo 5. Amazing. I maybe would have shifted the scene a little to the right and a bit higher; it feels like the girl should be a bit closer to the center of the photo. Photo 6. The photo feels cut off. The only adjustment that I can think of is to put the spoon more diagonally (about 45 degrees) and take the photo from farther away.
Overall really good job and I really liked the photo with a girl, truly well done.

Do I see hundreds and thousands in that last picture? I love all of the pictures, and your 'obsesion' with clouds especially. One of my favourite however is the sepia one (the girl and umbarella), it reminds me of old fashioned victorian pictures. The setting is very nice, although if it was a park without the fence I think it would be better. I have no issues with the positioning of the umbarella, but maybe rotating the girl away from the camera just a little so that her back is to the viewer just a tiny bit more. I think this might add a small sense loneliness/sadness to the picture or make it more emotional (for want of a better word) because currently, to me, it just looks like a girl sat with an umberalla. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh.

The first cloud picture is also one of the best. It reminds me of a wave on the beach as it breaks on the sand, the clouds being the water and the sky the sand. But looking at it a second time the cloud can also be a rock face. Also the arial picture is amazing! I wouldn't believe that you were scarred while taking that, well worth over-coming your fears.

The pegs picture is quite cute as well, you managed to capture your crazy combination of funny and serious. In my opinion anyway.

Hope this has helped at all. :)
