Oh my love,

Please hold me dear.

Cradle my heart, guard it from fear,

Make it believe that your true,

That you won't break me,

You'll make it feel new.

Oh my love,

Cherish my feelings,

Love me senseless with the depth of your being,

Caress my mind with sweet nothings,

Laugh with me cry with me,

Stay in the good and the bad,

Deliver me from my loneliness and when I feel sad.

Oh my love,

Take me away,

Capture my lips, never leave my embrace,

And let our love bloom at a steady pace,

Fiction against reality,

I hope our hearts win the race.

And your love as mine prevails,

for love like this can be sharper then nails.

Oh my love,

Words cannot explain.

The feelings you bring out of me,

As they pour out like rain.

Stay close never let me go,

Show me love and treat this as gold,

For your love, my love is one I will always hold.

Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad
Down down down down

It's sweet. Reminds me of Elizabeth Barret Browning with some Shakespearean tones thrown in. lol
Just be mindful of grammar and and punctuation. Though, considering this is poetry, you may have
purposely omitted punctuation.

Other than that, though, it was quite sweet.

I do like this a lot, but since I have a grammar Nazi sister, I have to fix this.
Make it believe that you're true,

I know it's a bother, but thats how I roll! Like it in every other way though. Makes me want to cry or eat chocolate or punch somebody. dGood work weork!

Hey! It be fruity!!!

I thought this was a really sweet poem. You used really good vocabulary, and the rhyme scheme kind of added to the mood. To me, it felt sweet and innocent, yet searching for passion. This is a really great poem and kind of has an Old England literature feel to me. As someone above said, it was language like Shakespeare would use. It also had a lot of emotion which is always great. Great Piece!

Love, fruity! :)
