Bonsi Tree

This is a small piece I did at the end of last year, hopefull I managed to get the shading right... It took my a couple of hours so the light position may be different in places due to the tree being in front of a window.

Well done with that shading, you've managed to make it as beautiful as a real Bonsai tree. I was wondering why you've drawn only part of the tree (a big branch maybe) and not the whole tree with the greens in it. Also, I am quite bothered by that horizontal line in the middle of the drawing, is it part of the tree or not related to it all?

I really like how the tree is drawn and how it twists in every direction, but maybe some more detail would make it more effective and more 3d than just the shape of a tree drawn on a piece of paper. The shading is great though

The tree died a long time ago and a lot of the braches decided to fall off... The horizontal line is part of a clif I drew the tree on but I couldn't get the whole picture in properly. Sorry about that

I'm not a drawing expert (actually the best thing i can draw is a 3D cube...) but It seems very good.
Did you drew this out from imagination or you had a bonsi tree in front of you? If you drew it out of imagination- then great, not many people can imagine such specific things. If you had a bonsi tree- well, where have you even got a bonsi tree from??? Ha ha, I'm joking.
