I really enjoyed reading this. It's short enough to enrapture the reader and keep you from losing interest, but at the same time it's long enough to perfectly capture exactly just what you're feelings towards childrens stories are. I could only find one spelling and one grammatical error in the entire piece.
"j" This should be capitalized, as it's at the end of a sentence, and there also needs to be a full-stop.
Apart from those small typos, it was very well written. However, I also think you could improve the piece overall. You're descriptions are adequate, but you could add in a little more just to pad it out some. And maybe tell us how you were feeling when this happened, just to make us connect a bit better. In summation, it was excellently written and a clear indication of you're skills as a writer, but could still be improved upon. Keep it up!
