I'm Justagirl ('though you can call me 'Just ) and I also love to write... XD I mostly do poems and such. I just checked out your profile and it seems as though you're gettin' around YWS just fine so far! If you need any help you can look at the club called The Buddy System and ask for a mentor/buddy or I can be that for you. If you need anyone, that is.

Welcome to YWS! I'm Smylin'. I hope you're enjoying the site so far. It really is pretty cool once you spend enough time here. I spend perhaps too much time here. xP But it's whatever.

Anyway though, I look forward to seeing you around the site! If you have any questions or are ever in need of a thorough and honest review, feel free to ask me. I'd be glad to help you out with whatever you need. Just post a comment on my wall or send a PM(private message) my way and I'll get back to you!

Hey Shad!

You were in The Lounge when I was in there...good times, right? At least I think you were. Call me Gray or Lady, but please, not Gary(: I made my account in July, but I'm still new. I had writer's block for a month, so I kind of avoided looking at the work the others were doing...and therefore, I only have three followers. Yeah. But, I posted some new stuff if you wanna see it! Hah. Sorry. Self-sponsor. I digress. I'd love to answer any questions ya got, but I'm probably not your girl for acronyms. Leave those to the professionals. Basically, all I've figured out about YWS:

1) Review constantly. More reviews=more points=more work you can submit=more people noticing you=more followers=more fun. Teach that one to your math teacher.

2) Chat rooms are highly confusing unless you've been on this website for almost a year and have as many followers as you do hairs on your head. Unless you're bald...you get what I mean, I hope. It was a bad synonym.

3) Post anything and everything. The bad stuff, the good stuff, the iffy stuff, and the stuff that you wish your dog had eaten. All of it. Because honestly, publishing on YWS isn't publishing a book. There are reviews for a reason. It'll help you grow as a writer! So DO IT.

As you've probably seen already, we have a wonderful community of insane friendly writers and artists. Never be afraid to post your work. We're all just here to help each other grow as writers.
What sort of things do you like to write? Poetry or prose? What genre?
It looks like Just already let you know about the Buddy System. Please check us out if you want some help getting to know the site. We've been starved for mentees lately, what with the economy and all. A buddy will answer any of your questions, review some if not all of your work, and help get you acquainted in any way possible with the site. You will have your buddy for one month, but sometimes they continue to follow you around after that. (In a complete big-brother sort of way. )

I have a question...are you a dancer? :D Haha, your username just made me wonder, 'cause I'm one.
Also, what's your favorite genre to write in and/or read? (Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi, etc.) My favorite genre is Fantasy. These days, I also like writing and reading Realistic Fiction, since I can relate to it best.
