What to say...
well, if I rain through a short summary I might scare people off, so I will keep to the extremely abridged version!
I'm Jack, I live in a part of England between all the green stuff (tree's, owls, hills), and all the metal things (cars, fog, The Rules). It's an irritating middle, too far away to get heard by anyone, too close so you can't hear silence.
I've been doing musical things with my band for 5-6 years (The Boston Tea Party), although i hate the imagery that comes with "band", i see bad metal and poorly tuned guitars, but it isn't like that...
So i sing and write for the band, i write..incoherently..i tend not to structure, and indeed i tend not to show anyone, as words scribbled on a page barely count as legit. poetry..but I'll give it a go.
So..thats the basics..want to know anymore then message me i guess!

Thanks for asking, and what about all of you guys?

Called Jack and from England, huh? What a coincidence, one of our junior administrators shares both your name and country of origin.

My story's simple. I'm from North Yorkshire, my interests vary from reading to writing to horse riding, swimming, computer games, films, TV and many other hobbies. I alternate between prose and poetry, usually favouring the latter though currently trying to spend more time on the former. I've had a poem or two published in anthologies but nothing of consequence and I'm not used to introducing myself in the welcome thread, lol. Oh and my name's Heather in case the above post didn't give that away

Quality Beef!
mm, well thank you for the warm welcome Heather!
As i said, I cant promise any kind of consistency due to being buried alive in deadlines etc, but then again, if I could promise consistency, where would be the fun?!

Hahaha. That's okay and no worries, we have many members who are infrequent parasites of our domain ;)

Consistency is over-rated and mystery much more fun.

Hello. I am Tristan and I'm kind of new to the site. I like to write essays and non-fiction pieces usually. I attempt poetry but am aware that I need work. My friends and family have never read anything I wrote so I am excited to get some feedback! Looking forward to reading, reviewing, and submitting... not to mention meeting fellow writers!
